I have Deadpool brainworms and i cant stop thinking about his horrifying torture at the hands of a government entity vs Steve Roger's successful superserum transformation and how the Captain America origin was thought up in the 40's and Deadpool's was written long after MKUltra was declassified via FOIA... idk i feel like there's a paper about pop culture and MKUltra. Not just general distrust of the government, but specifically unethical human experimentation on citizens in the name of war (both Deadpool and Captain America are/were soldiers)
