"Oh it's just one raspberry. I should be fine without washing it first"
You'll never guess what happened next, folks.
I know it's not the *worst* starting location, but it does suck to have the game start you on the mostly empty side of the Forlorn Muskeg, about 50 feet from a wolf, and immediately have the wind pick up to gale force.
KICK THE CAN!
Let’s play the biggest game of kick the can on the internet.
To kick the can, reblog it. I wanna see how long this can go on for.
the oldest reblogs for this post that i can find are from january 2nd of 2013. this can has been getting kicked around tumblr for almost 13½ years now
And yet somehow this is my first time kicking it!
Looking up how Hunted (pt 1) works after the fact and it seems I both misunderstood a core mechanic and got incredibly lucky. I thought it was going to be an immortal snail situation where the bear would follow me at a steady pace so I had to keep moving to avoid getting cornered. But no, it's supposed to constantly jumpscare you whenever you're outside, and through sheer happenstance the ENTIRE time I was hoofing it through a blizzard in Pleasant Valley it just kept spawning in out of sight and never catching up. I beat the challenge in less than 48 hours first try because I didn't understand it.
So, fun fact: emergency stims let you sprint as fast as the Old Bear can run, and lasts almost long enough to get you from the Train Unloading Area to the Camp Office.

Repost, now do your honors.
The last LOK-1 overclock I haven't talked about (not counting Eraser which is just a nothingburger) is Smяt Trigger OS™. What it does is it boosts the speed of target acquisition to an insane degree and allows the gun to automatically fire at full locks and immediately start acquiring new targets, making it effectively fully automatic. The only listed downside is much fewer locks which isn't even a meaningful downside with how fast it fires. It gives you some of Engineer's highest possible DPS. Since there's little reason not to take Unstable Lock Mechanism in tier 5, and your tier 4 options let you choose between 2 or 4 locks, that means you'll either do 65 or 130 damage per burst. If those numbers sound familiar, you've probably used the M1000 Classic before. Which means you probably already recognize the problem.
Dealing 65 damage with the M1000 means you didn't take the ammo upgrade and your ammo economy is going to suffer for it. And the LOK-1 doesn't get to take its own ammo upgrade and still cross that important 55 damage breakpoint that makes the M1000 so effective. So while STOS does perform very similarly to an M1000 with aim assist, it's not a direct upgrade thanks to more precarious ammo economy. And it doesn't help that the unlisted downside of the overclock is that you're given little to no time to correct your aim or curve bullets to your advantage, making it very very easy to waste shots on terrain, armor, or low priority targets.
The base Smart Rifle appears at first to be a braindead spam weapon but heavily rewards careful aim and timing, and STOS magnifies both of those aspects.
Fallout : New Vegas really popped off when it predicted in *2010* that the most dangerous kind of AI isn't one that becomes sentient, but rather one that unthinkingly obeys your every command - because it is literally programmed to encourage every whim and agree with every belief you have, no matter how morally compromised you actually might be.
If I know the Bloodborne fans on here, I'm sure they'll be Very Normal about the placement of this grab hitbox.
Not sure why I never questioned it before, but Caesar's real name being synonymous with both "pale skin" and "obviously unhealthy". Is a bit on the nose, don't you think?
I get that "War Criminal With Intense Man Pain" is basically a stock character at this point, but it is kinda weird how many similarities there are between Craig Boone and Booker DeWitt.

#if the portals don't share a reference frame then there's sound logic that gets either answer unfortunately#it isn't properly defined and the vibes can lead you to A or B being correct
wait no please explain, how could it be A? like, genuinely, what is the chain of reasoning for that?
what happens
A) Portals preserve momentum, and the people have none
B) Portals preserve momentum, and have momentum themselves
C) portals can't exist on a moving surface and I refuse to entertain the idea
you have this superpower! BUT you have this side-effect
is it worth it?
yes!!
the side effect is bad but ITS WORTH IT
meh it's okay
the side effect makes it unusable/not worth it
Results/option I didn't think of
