We're divided, and that's a terrifying thought. That somehow, somewhere we've reached a fork in the path. We can barely see each other through the forest between us, plain silhouettes and the sounds of birds. When did it become so complicated to love one another? Was it after Princess Diana died, maybe after Michael Jackson went into a deep slumber?

I look at everyone, I'll look at myself. When had we become so bitter from our core and out? You may not think so, but take another look in the mirror. We're quick to call names, names that shouldn't be so easy to pull out. Our tongues are stained black, ink for saliva dripping from the corners of our lips.

Maybe we'd be better off if the world did end.

You know someone can’t stand when you’re right, when they resort to cursing and/ or blocking you ✌🏻

I even said it as nicely as I possibly could. You really can’t be honest with people nowadays, without it turning political. I can’t find anyone to genuinely have a conversation with on the internet. This is without them feeling personally attacked or misconstruing what you mean. Everyone takes everything to the next level. Instead of taking it for what it is, to stop jumping to conclusions. It’s just sad.
