اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ يُحِبُّكَ وَالْعَمَلَ الَّذِى يُبَلِّغُنِى حُبَّكَ

O’ Allaah! I ask You for Your Love, the love of those who love You, and deeds which will cause me to attain Your Love.

for @ibtasem and everyone else that needs an english translation here it is (to the best of my ability): 1. in the battle of uhud, there is a painful story 2. the prophet peace be upon him, fell into a hole that disbelievers had dug for him and his face was smashed against the rocks and so the blood gushed from him. on his head there was an iron helmet 3. the sahaba recount that the prophet pbuh’s face could not be seen through all the blood, so they tried to remove the helmet from his face but they could not manage it and when they did finally remove it, the prophet pbuh took to wiping the blood from his face 4. and then he raised his hands and said: god, forgive my people for they do not know (ie. what they do/ why this is so wrong/ do not know the truth) in short, the prophet peace be upon him, regardless of being targeted and hurt, in the midst of his terrible injuries, still managed to raise his hands and ask god to forgive those that have done him harm as they were simply ignorant to the truth.
