I got inspired after watching “Fantastic Mr. Fox” and tried using a different brush

stealing an idea from video games again obviously I love the idea that you're in the woods, and you know something or someone is approaching you, because between the trees you hear a faint glimmer of strings and classical music, as if from too far a distance but still far too close to you.

THE  NIGHT  HERE  IS  HAZY,     HEAVY  WITH  THE  SCENT  OF  STILL  WATER  AND  EARTH,     looming and moving the way slow fish illuminate their way through musky mist and heavy miasma.     eternally purpurea,     humid and slow,     it is filled with the wishes   of  loam  soil  and  mud  things,     the throne of patience is built here.     his steps follow hers in their shadow,     leaving marks that he knows   shall disappear under the luciferin   and hidden teeth.     nothing  here  is  as  it  seems,     and neither is the shape that guides him through this world of inbetweens,     this  mirror  image.     the amalgam of both dread and eating,     where indecision and duality pulls itself apart   at the seams.

SPEECH  BECOMES  SOMETHING  ELSE  THE  WAY  SOMETHING  ENTERS  A  WOOD     and does not come out the same way,     a kind of metamorphosis in isolation,     in grief,     in loss.     and the trees devour her words as they would lined up,     politely,     banqueted and invited to feast,     two  pairs  of  footsteps   heard but only one leaving behind a trace.     she is no stranger to us,     to us,     they whisper,     and so   she  should  be  no  stranger   to them too.     sunlight struggles and fights to death in the maws of the canopy,     chewed and mangled onto the foliage floor,     a shape of what the overgrowth demands.     this is where everything is an amalgam of opposites,     of stases,     of  a  battle  of  wills.     and the creature does not turn its head to her when they outstretch their hand.

—————     WHAT’S YOUR ROLE IN A FOUND FAMILY DYNAMIC ?

the brains.

people are not so much your forte.   you are more at home with thoughts,  ideas,  hobbies,  skills.   as such,  you probably have to learn how to work well with others —— but once you do,  hey,  it has its moments.   while you are treasured for your ability to solve problems,  people also have this unique love of novelty.   when you break from your schedule,  when you say something no one is expecting —— that's novel.   you are as curious and lovable as the subjects you study.   you are family.   this place is not the same without your witty comments and wry observations.   you definitely feel more comfortable when someone needs a straightforward answer than a shoulder to cry on,  but it's not impossible to give both.   know that your family loves you for more than that, though, and will  (  usually  )  remember to respect your boundaries.
