Aalina had expected this to be so easy, but it everything had went off without a hitch. Serena was off hidden in a shed with her neck snapped, their clothes had been easily switched. This way she could finish her mission and go back to her little sister without any interruptions. Now she just had to finish the last part of her plan to frame Serena and all would be set. While she’d initially planned to take out a simple human they’d sent them away when the rain rolled in, just any old supernatural wouldn’t work anymore. No, that’d be too easy to talk off, she needed big and something to get everyone talking. So she set her sights on a Council Member. While the witch would have been the easiest to take out Richard still wasn’t done with his obnoxious ass plans so she turned her eyes to the mermaid. They were so cheerful and glee and had easily been willing to meet Serena in the woods to help set up her surprise for Max. She was certainly going to give Ophelia the surprise of her life. Checking for the hidden camera’s out of her eye and she made sure that she was front and center of two. This way Gina couldn’t try to sweep it under the rug, the video proof would be there of her precious Serena murdering a Council Member.
“Hey Serena,” She heard Ophelia greet. Giving a sweet smile as she pretended to be the dear Serena Kaplan. After a few minutes of small talk Aalina drew her fangs and sank them into the blonde. Letting them rip into the flesh while she tore at Ophelia. Trying to channel the ripper that Serena was, she’d helped Gina clean up so many scenes for their dear sweet sister. Just like that Ophelia’s head rolled from her body and into a puddle, while Aalina let stood there covered in blood and licking her fingers. Knowing that her mission was completed when she heard the banshee screams in the distance, she moved the hair out of her face. “Thanks for taking one for the team.” She whispered to Ophelia’s dead body, she started to retreat back towards camp when she came face to face with another Council Member, Nadia Long. “While I’d love to stick around and have this little chat about the blood on me I have to go.” She needed to get to Serena and switch out their clothes before she woke up or someone spotted either of them. “How about we talk about this later, okay? I’m sure Gina will want to be here and etc. Okay toodles.” Waving to the hunter as she went to walk past her.
With the weather changes, things were being moved around rapidly and their well laid out plans were not quite working. Still things were manageable, though Nadia decided not to get involved with the riot over barbeque. The humans were sent home, and the other leaders were out taking care of the camp, so that just left Nadia to watch the cameras they had set up all over the campgrounds. She wasn’t bothered by that fact, after all it was what she was trained for. Surveillance. She wanted to make sure that this event went smoothly, without anything horrible happening as had happened at every turn over the past year and a half. As if karma itself wanted her to suffer, as soon as that thought had crossed her mind, she watched in shock as Serena decapitated Ophelia. Her adrenaline rushing, Nadia grabbed a gun, a stake, and the knife Logan had given her and ran towards where she knew that camera was placed.
The nonchalance with which Serena was acting set of warning bells in Nadia’s head. She had just watched the woman murder someone and she was acting like it was no big deal. She drew her knife and stepped to block the vampire’s path once more. They might be fast, but she was ready. She hadn’t spent her whole life training to be outpaced merely by super speed. “I don’t think you’re going anywhere. What the fuck is even going on?” Some of what the other woman said was true though, Nadia couldn’t just kill her. Gina would want a trial, and to take care of things herself in the case of a guilty verdict. She would just have to subdue the woman. “Serena you killed someone, a Council Leader? How do you think you can just walk away from that?”
