can you do a headcannon about Isak and even cuddling and sleeping like how do they cuddle who spoons who what kinds of things do they talk about when they're soft and sleep warm about to fall asleep I just have a lot of feels about cuddly sleepy evak !!! also it headcannons are amazing and I love them all w my whole heart

even l o v e s isak’s bed. he really does. his own bed is nice and all but isak’s is especially soft and has a little dent in where isak’s body normally takes (and now its starting to have a little dent for even as well) and it smells entirely of isak and there’s a certain peace to it, a little bubble that promises not to be broken before you’re ready, like you could just stay here forever and recover and no one will ever force you to leave
sometimes when even goes back to his own bed it feels. wrong. you know? like the mattress is too tough from not being used, it smells sort of stale, it doesnt invite him in and sink underneath his weight. its unforgiving. there are a lot of Bad Memories in this bed, and a lot of Ok Memories. a lot of Sonja Memories. so even prefers to leave it behind.
anyways im getting off-topic,
the point is that isak’s bed is Safe and Soft and Warm. and im determined not to make this angsty.
isak and even have a lot of soft conversations at 3 am when neither of them could go to sleep and had been laying there in silence, drinking in each other’s warmth, even’s hands (a little restless) traveling up and down isak’s side and back and face, isak sometimes closing his eyes and thinking about nothing but what patterns even’s tracing, sometimes openly staring at even. sometimes even hooks an arm around isak’s waist and draws him in closer, isak buries his face in even’s neck and they just stay there. sleepy but not asleep, close but not close enough. never close enough.
and isak will murmur into even’s skin i think that maybe there might still be a God after all and even will say what makes you think that and off goes a philosophical conversation, the type that accidentally makes you vulnerable and reveal some deep truths about yourself, the type of conversations you can only have when you’re not afraid to be judged or told you’re wrong.
and then someone will say something that makes the other think, and theyll think so long and hard that one of them falls asleep. they dont really talk about that conversation again until another one of them starts where they left off.
isak is the Sleepiest and also the Grumpiest.
he’s always drifting off and startled awake when even touches his arm softly.
whenever even mentions you fell asleep isak adamantly replies fuck off i wasnt sleep maybe if this movie wasnt so fucking boring... and then halfway through the movie theyre watching, he drifts off again.
his head sort of flops over and he drools a little bit and there’s the slightest little snore and even thinks its … Miraculous. a Blessing. There is No Cuter Sleeper than My Boyfriend, Isak Valtersen, even thinks to himself. Not Possible.
isak is warm and soft and his snores are actually kind of hypnotic and theres nothing better to do anyways. so even just drifts off with him.
when it comes to spooning, it switches around a lot -
isak likes being the little spoon and burying himself into even’s clothes and sort of losing himself in it, forgetting about the world and only thinking about how even smells and how he can feel even’s voice rumble through his chest and feel his breathing. but when even’s not feeling great, he likes being the big spoon bc it helps him feel like he’s helping? like he’s protecting him in his own little way? he cant do anything about whats going on inside even’s head but he can stroke even’s hair and press his face into even’s back and remind him that he’s here and he’s holding onto him and he’s got his back.
even likes being the big spoon - he loves isak so much he wants to squeeze him sometimes and its hard to love-squeeze someone when you’re the little spoon. he likes looking at isak’s face and tapping messages on his back and messing with isak’s hair. being the little spoon sometimes makes even feel a little trapped, like he can’t really movie and he’s sort of hyperaware of whether or not isak is comfortable, he largely prefers being the one In Control in the cuddle situation and isak is more than happy to let him do that.
even can tell right when isak’s about to drift off bc isak’s eyes go all blinky and roll back a little bit and his breathing is very rhythmic and smooth and even will often whisper something like i love you or sweet dreams very quietly. he said it too loudly once or twice and isak got startled out of his sleep-haze and even felt so bad he swore to never do it again.
they do that thing where its like 11 pm and they’ve both said goodnight and made the promise to stop talking but neither of them actually go to sleep for like another 2 hours and it gets awkward bc both of them want to talk to each other?? but they’re not sure if the other one is awake or not but eventually isak will curiously peek over to make to sure even’s asleep and even’s eyes are wide open and isak lets out a sigh and goes oh thank god i thought i was alone.
whenever there’s a weird noise in the middle of the night, isak wakes up and gets really scared but he’s also really really tired + lazy so he makes even go investigate instead of getting up.
first thing in the morning isak is barely coherent and his breath smells bad and he’s super grumpy and refuses to get up and honestly?? it just makes even love isak more
even presses his cold feet against isak out of Spite.
isak’s body is naturally really warm, he’s like a furnace, which means in the winter even will constantly pull him closer and in the summer, isak gets pushed out of the bed a lot.
bed kisses are always Soft. even when they’re meant to be Hot, they’re still a Little Soft.
there’s a lot of curious, exploratory touches - not like ur thinking, jeez, calm down there kiddo. its exploring as in i’ve never touched your ear before and this seems like a good time to do welp here i go. hmm you have an interesting ribcage im gonna poke all ur ribs and see what sounds it makes and then trace all the bones i can feel. do u think if i bite this particular vein in ur neck right there, do u think u would die? u have an eyebooger and ur not getting it out despite ur efforts and i know ive never touched ur face this close to ur eye before but just let me get it out come on. my feet are touching ur calves rn and sort of kneading them and i know it sounds weird but it feels weirdly sastifying and ur not bothered by it so im gonna keep doing it to get ur attention. let me just touch every single mole you have just because i can. i love your belly im gonna grab it and play with it. this mark is weird have u ever had that checked out?? i love ur body so much but its so weird and i sort of want to Experiment with it.
when even goes away to university and starts seeing isak a lot less, the first thing they do when he comes over is to lay down on the bed, release a big sigh, and begin their Pillow Talk.
Pillow Talk consists of hands touching cheeks and hips and hair softly and whispering bc you’re so close to each other you don’t really need to be loud. pushing your faces so close together you can feel each other’s breath. slipping one leg underneath his. asking about each other’s day and laughing a little bit and maybe just laying there. bc its been a while since theyve last seen each other and they need a moment to Regroup. get used to having a weight on the bed again.
