I made the video diptych whilst I was doing my placement with the Arts Council Newcastle, assisting artists Aaron Guy and Robert Parkinson. The project took place in Scotswood, Newcastle and the aim was to react to the complex history and current problems of the area, while creating a bridge between the existing and the new-built estates. I made the short video of the space between the two estates using the positioning of a CCTV they installed during the protests in the 90’s.
