i dont know how many people in the world out there believe in metaphysics; i guess ive always been pretty intrigued and inspired. some people believe that a clear, well envisioned thought can almost always be manifested physically, if repeated often enough.
tonight i sit alone in my dream apartment in downtown denver with my 2 cats, and a fat (legal) doobie contemplating how far i’ve come in the last 3 years of my life. ive had some time to focus on building a life for myself that genuinely brings me joy almost every single day that i wake up. 7 months ago, i was lucky enough for the cosmos / whatever is out there in the great beyond, to deliver to me one of the happiest, sweetest parts of my life so far to date. i truly do believe it.
so many of the constant daydreams and desires have come to fruition. a gentle faced, kind hearted person that appreciates so many of the same things that bring joy into my life. seemingly endless drives through desert canyons at sunset. kissing on tops of mountains. swimming in hot springs in the dark, floating on our backs and looking at the sky. driving through fields of windmills, always making the effort to seek out something extraordinarily beautiful. wide open spaces, bob dylan serenades, visiting snow covered ghost towns, loving in secluded cemeteries and talking about space and time; how lucky are we to exist in this same timeline? its a bit overwhelming, but also never so calming in the same breath. it can be hard knowing that nothing in this life is ever permanent, but buddy, when i tell you i am savoring every moment, i mean it with every fiber of my being. be it 1 more day or the next 100 years, it is enough to not only satisfy, but overflow my cup. its all i have ever wanted, and im forever grateful for the opportunity to feel such feelins.
100 rain clouds still wouldn’t be enough to put a damper on my current happiness, not even remotely.
fuck the cynics and all the high horsers, the soapboxers, and those who have become hateful and hardened. fuck the idea that any of the feelings you feel are “cringe”, or anyone that says they are; embrace and enjoy it. in all actuality, who really fucking cares in the end? all we have is now, and the world could use a lot more love anyways.
