"The cruelest? Hmm, that is an easy one. I once went after a woman who knew me from my past work, because she allowed her own child go after my daughter, calling her names I won't speak about here. I reminded her of some parts of her own life, and she quickly left and does her best to stay out of my way."

June DWC 2026 | Day 3 - Reflect

Naia watches her reflection as she stands before the mirror in her bedroom. Fingers reach up and touch the skin of her cheek. When had she changed so much? Gone was the young woman who had once been filled with so many hopes and dreams.

Now a mature woman stood in her place. She slowly turns around, noticing all the changes. Gone was the slim frame of youth and in its place was the fullness of motherhood. 

Who was this woman standing before her? A woman who has felt the pain of loss, a woman who has felt pure joy as she held her new born daughter in her arms for the first time.A woman who has watched in pride as her daughter grew into a young lady. For so many years she wore a mask, hiding the pain, the uncertainty. 

She runs her hands down along her sides, her head tilting to the side. Now she no longer hid behind that mask. She achieved all the dreams of that young girl. Fingers brush ever so softly across the picture of Aerion, she had known the love of a man.

It scared her at times, the thought of opening her heart up at another chance at love. Her heart was ready, but was she? After hiding her heart for so long?

Fingers brushed across her reflection one last time, there was a heart that was ready to be free,  that burns with need. Once she had asked herself, who was that woman standing before her. No longer did she walk in uncertainty. Accepting the changes of life had always scared her, not anymore.

Naia walks through her home and heads to the kitchen, putting a kettle of water on the stove as she hums softly, fingers brushing ever so softly across the counters. She tilts her head back, looking out the window, watching the stars, clouds slowly passing over them, ever changing. Just as she has.

With a cup of tea in her hands, she walks out the back to the fountain surrounded by the garden she and Al'e had tirelessly spent hours planting. Here she came to think, here she found a peace she had not found in the city. Here she could truly be herself.

June DWC | Day 1 | Allure

Naia stands just on the edge of the porch with a cup of tea as she looks out over the forest of Eversong. They had recently been given the all clear to return to their home after the first invasions hit. Thankfully their home had sustained no damage. Others had not been so lucky, and had lost everything. The first thing she had done was make sure to send out supplies and donations to the various organizations, military and non military units, as well as the mercenaries. 

Thankfully Al'esena had already left for camp when Naia returned to their house. After checking over everything, she had spent the next few days cleaning. Last year she had taken a big step in the next chapter of their lives when she bought the house from an elderly couple.

She sold their apartment in the city, wanting to start fresh. At first Al’esena hated the changes, but slowly over time, she warmed up. Here they were closer to her grandparents, and she could visit them more. 

They started a garden, bought a few chickens, and restored the old greenhouse. Her daughter was eager to fill the home with all her arts and crafts, and soon their new home was filled with warmth and love once more.

Despite being one use to the more finer things in life, both had taken to the rustic nature of the land. Al’esena woke up an hour earlier than she had when they lived in the city, so she could go out and feed the chickens and let them out for the day.

When she got home from her classes, the first thing they did was go out to collect the eggs, and feed them. She allowed her to choose what they grew in the garden, and she had watched with pride as she worked hard in the garden everyday.

Now the first crops of the season were growing strong and healthy. While Al’esana was away at camp, it was Naia’s job to make sure everything was watered, fed and tended too.

Their life had become so enriching. Her days filled with her work at the shop, with two days being dedicated to her work as a book conservator. With the recent attacks, it had slowed down. So it gave her more time to focus on other things. And now she has taken up performing again after taking a year off to spend time traveling with Al’esana. She had lost count of all the places they had visited. Ale had a passion for history, and Naia had taken her out to learn about other cultures, their history and their way of life. 

Pandaria had been Ale’s favorite, as well as Naia’s. They had spent a month traveling around the many places, learning about the temples and serpents in the Jade Forest, farming the land in Valley of the Four Winds, visiting the temples in Kun Lai Summit. Ale’s room was filled with all the plushies she had collected of the August Celestials. Though she was forced to put her foot down when Ale tried to talk her into getting one of the cloud serpents as a pet. Of course there was plenty of trying to explain to a twelve year old girl why they could not keep one. 

Even now she chuckles at that memory. How much like her father she was becoming each day. He had been just as stubborn when he was set on getting something he wanted. Naia takes a sip of her tea, leaning on a wooden post. It was getting late and she had a busy day tomorrow. So with that, she turns and heads into the house, closing the door behind her.

How much of your income comes from selling erotica?

"I don't openly sell erotica books in my shop, because we do have children that come in daily, as well as coming in for our weekly story time. So I have a catalog pacifically catered to them. So if any adults wish to order some, they are able to view it in private. I don't wish to risk a child happening about a room full of them."

"Opening my bookshop, The Enchanted Quill. I've always had a passion for literature, anything from novels, poetry, and drama. I'm sure many may have thought my crowning achievement was becoming a singer. " "Don't get me wrong, I love singing, but I've always done it as a means of making a little extra coin when I was putting myself through schooling, to become what they call a Book Conservator. Which pretty much is someone who restores and specialize in preserving, repairing, and rebinding damaged or antique volumes of books and scrolls."

"It had always been my dream to open a book shop. And now here I am, the proud owner of The Enchanted Quill. And now my daughter seems to be showing the same interest. Though I've always told her, that what ever path she choose in life, I would be there for her and be so very proud of her."

What do you enjoy doing for your self care moments?

"Taking a nice long hot bath. I place candles all through out the bathroom, with two of them being scented. Jasmine and lavender are the two I use the most. I put oils made for baths and then I play some soft music while I just relax."

She laughs, "I have to be extremely careful that I don't end up getting to relaxed and end up falling a sleep. Oh! And I always have a glass of wine!"

What is your favorite performance you have done for the Tarts?

"Oh goodness, I'm not sure I can name just one. All of the performances have been a favorite of mine in some way. Seeing the enjoyment on their faces, seeing how much my songs truly move them. Singing has always been my passion in life, and I love sharing those passions with others."
