Avatar au: Mira, Brea, Gurjin and Naia
Finally finished four more characters, I still have to draw Kylan, Amri and maaaaaybe the skeksis.
Once again I’m gonna yap about designs and stuff under the cut for anyone interested lol
Brea:
I have never once colored her before so I didn’t know where to start until I talked to my sister and she told me that the Vapra should be purple. And, because they live in a snowy/cold climate, their skin would be darker than the snow and for fun their hair would be light. In this au I’m not fully sure what Brea’s role would be other than what she does in the actual show. She would observe the skeksis behavior and decide for herself that things were not fair.
Mira:
Not much to say on her design other than she is a warrior along with Rian and Gurjin just like in the show lol, though I think she would be the first out of the three of them to question the skeksis intentions.
Gurjin:
He honestly didn’t change much in design other than a color change. Unlike the metkayina in the Avatar movies, the Drenchen live in swamps just like in the show, therefore I thought they should appear greener and darker to blend into their environment. As for his role, he is a strong warrior and when Rian is banished/goes missing, he ends up returning to his own clan, joining his sister in a forming rebellion. (Or he can get kidnapped too like in the show/book)
Naia:
Like Gurjin, she didn’t really change. I believe that just like the books, Naia would be next in line for the leadership role in her clan, not tsa’hik but the literal leader. In this au she has a more important role, I want to combine the books with the show a little and say that she was already forming a separate rebellion between those who already believed the skeksis were evil (Rian, Deet and Brea would make everyone else join). But idk let me know what you all think.
