Mix n match using two of OPI's new Brazil polishes -- gradients, leopard print, striping tape, glitter, v-gap (ish), and rhinestones! I love the subtlety of the pink and orange gradients mixed with the bold black and white. Very happy with these :D

It's officially February, and that means it's time for Valentine's Day nail art! Gave the candy conversation hearts a try....I modeled it after Polish Art Addict's stamped mani, but I free-handed the hearts and used a red Sharpie for the lettering! Not sure how long the Sharpie will last, but it was a lot easier than trying to paint it. Kinda cute :)

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile, guys! This photo is kind of old, but this was taken on day 6 of sporting these black and red fishtail/chevrons! I don't usually get many chips, but this was impressive even for me. Definitely gonna try these again with different colors soon. Tile floor from the gym locker room haha.

Turquoise stone nails!
I did these using the water spotted technique (my first time!) and some Bath & Body Works body spray. The key is to spray enough into the polish so you get big, open spots instead of a bunch of little ones. It also helps to use a black polish that doesn't cover in one coat, like Orly Liquid Vinyl, so the effect is more subtle. They still looked too perfect afterwards, so I added some gold splochies (technical term) with a crumbled bit of plastic baggie. I may never do my nails again...

I used Chalkboard Nails' "distressed" technique to do these nails inspired by a shirt I wore this week, but I used a metallic on a creme instead and did more swirly textures to mimic the shirt. I like this technique, it's like a crackle polish look but more legit.
