Painted my nails bright Barbie pink early this week and when they started to chip I just sponged on some white and then purple nail polish on top. Turned out pretty cool. And I didn't have to totally redo my nails :)

It's been a while since the last post, I blame midterms.. anyway it's time for Polka Dots! My favorite type of manicure mainly because there is absolutely no way to mess it up.

More fish scales! This time, my other hand. The purple dots bled a little on both hands, so it's not as sharp. :(

There's something fishy about these nails...

I started with doing gradient nails from Sinful Colors "Love Nails" to Sinful Colors "Rise and Sunshine." Then I noticed that my nails were looking pretty marine colored and decided that they needed a last touch of a sea creature or two.. or in this case four.

Not a Valentine's Day manicure, but not totally excluding Valentine's Day in this post:

Did this little mani yesterday. Right before I left for school I applied a couple coats of Sally Girl: EH1 151 (no fancy names wasted on these polishes) and I let that  dry during my 30 minute commute to school. Before leaving the car I added a top coat of China Glaze CRACKLE: Oxidized Aqua which dried during my ten minute walk across campus to my class. 

I took this picture with the roses that my boyfriend gave me yesterday for Valentine's Day. I'm still so happy about how my Valentine's Day turned out perfectly, hope yours did too!
