the united states is actively interfering in my country’s internal affairs once again, so it’s difficult to have a neutral opinion about politics while i’m surrounded by american entertainment every day.

as you know, conan went to argentina in the first conan must go season, and when confronted by the fact the united states interfered in latin america’s politics for their own gain (and they’re still doing it), he deflects by saying it’s in the past, and that other countries did the same.

i have no idea why he kept this footage. he was clearly caught off guard and it makes him look really bad, considering he has a history degree, which means he knows about it all. each country has their horror story to tell, including brazil.

and trump is doing that with brazil AGAIN, so I wonder what conan would say this time. not really in the past, is it?
