Perhaps it wasnât the best ideaâ trying to get Marth to be carefree, to have a little fun. Marth did seem to take his position as king quite serious. Neliel didnât want to ruin his reputation as king. The female Arrancar was like him when he was in Hueco Mundo, never really had the time to have fun since it was looked down upon as a woman her ageâ for an Espada. If you were to have met the other Espada, most of them didnât act childish. They were brash, some were short-tempered, some were isolated, and some were reserved. She was one of the collected and reserved Espada. So, she understood why he had to be the way he is now.
âHmmm,â So status in Altea matters a lot. In Hueco Mundo, t was different. What mattered there was the strongest were superior. Social or noble status didnât apply where she came from. However, they were a bit similar, since people seem to expect a lot from youâ whether of nobility or strength. ââThe more power you have means more freedomâ, I would say that worked well from where I came from. Usually, the strongest Arrancar were allowed to do as they pleasedâ to a certain extent of course. Or else they would create chaosâŠwell, more than usual.â Neliel lowly muttered. âTreat royalty out of fear?â This was a bit strange to her, why fear the nobility. The female Arrancar was quite perplexed about that. âSweets, well.â Where did they get the little amount of sweets in Hueco Mundo? âWell, Iâm not quite sure where the sweets came fromâ as for many of our thingsâ theyâre just presented to us and we just accept it, no questions asked.â
If he could change one thing about how his kingdom, it would be how people judged one another in such a way. It was so difficult to be one's self in society, in any kingdom too to his understanding, and he hated it. His smiles were rarely false, but instead his emotionless and proper expressions were. Curiously, he wondered just how similar this land of monsters, Hueco Mundo, was to the rest of the world in that regard.
"Then we are on the same page there. It is for the best to have some form of hierarchy though." It helped avoid making careless decisions by people uneducated on a manner. "Yes. Imagine having someone passing by that could ruin you with a snap of their fingers. I can practically do as I wish without too many negative consequences. However, that doesn't mean that I will. It seems people forget we have honor." He smiled slightly, not sure how well she would understand that. It was boiled down to its basics and there was actually much more there, but he figured that it would take too long to explain everything and she would eventually wind up bored. "Couldn't that be bad for you though? Someone could be trying to kill you!" As a king, he had plenty of people out for him, so free gifts were carefully inspected if they were not given directly from a close friend where he could physically see the person.
