I was in Myeong-dong this evening, visiting a dabang (old-school coffee shop) that’s been around since 1972, a holdover from a time when the neighborhood was full of such places.

Anyway, being a Saturday evening, Myeong-dong was even more packed than it usually is. Say what you will about the place, but it does exude an energy that makes it a fun place to walk around.
