My wizard-warlock talked to her kinda-maybe-crush about marriage. It went... sideways.

We don't know much yet, but the main theory is that he let one of the voices/entities in his head go 'instead' of him and do all the serious talking, and that guy failed spectacularly. He was arrogant, he was cold, and obviously tried to say what Katarina expected.

And when Katarina confessed her secrets (like hag-ex-archdevil-half-goddess chasing her and trying to steal her body) and asked if he wants to tell smth like that about him (you know, all the uncontrollable fire magic and voices in his head) he said no, then his face turned into flame, he accused her or dishonesty because she's a Levistus' warlock and then immediatelly ran away. The servants later told the party that they saw Khallos running away, not in flames, but in tears.

Anyways... dnd is so fucking fun.
