So we got a new official illustration teasing the Valentine’s Day merch. Let’s focus on Lucifer here for a second…

There’s a very old visual language in film/animation where a character touching their ring doesn’t signal love - it signals letting go. It’s what characters do when they already know a relationship won’t return, but aren’t ready to release it yet. A quiet moment of grief, not hope.

That’s why this shot of Lucifer feels important to me… It reads less like clinging to the past, and more like standing at the edge of change. Stories don’t linger on moments like this unless they’re clearing space for something new… and when they do, it’s usually because another connection is about to matter.

And maybe I’m reading too much into it but it does feel like Alastor is watching him here. It might just be framing… or it might be intentional. But if Lucifer is touching the past, and Alastor is quietly watching… that feels less like coincidence, and more like setup.

I just can't draw a huntlow kiss without Hunter looking absolutely shocked that it's happening. I like to think that, despite how obviously Willow flirts, he's terrible at picking it up (this must just be how friends act, right? She couldn't possibly like me!) and it confuses the heck out of Willow. It doesn't get through to him until something like this happens...

knowing that a coping mechanism isn’t good for you doesn’t mean you won’t fall back on it when things get tough… maybe the gloves work, maybe they don’t. but at least they’re giving Elsa a bit of suppression self-restriction discipline security when everything feels too much
