Yesterday, the world changed for me
Something as simple as quitting my job has opened up the doors to opportunities not only on the outside, but the inside of my mind. I am on this journey of change.
Mental, physical and spiritual.
I am on the path of who I am and what I want to be.
New year, New days, time for change
This year I have: -Started school -Went back to counseling -Started exercising a little (baby steps!) -Came in with a clear mind and healthier attitude New Years Goals: 1) Lose 25lbs (2lbs down!) 2) Make straight A's 3) Pay off debt 4) Get into the nursing program 5) Grow out my hair (I've already gotten my one and only cut for the year!)

Synchronicity
I still believe that everything happens for a reason and that the synchronicity that lead one to another is how itâs meant to be. The sun lightens the path for the day and the moon lightens the path for the night. Theyâre opposite and yet, theyâre the same. We are opposite and yet we are the same. It wasnât a coincidence that we crossed paths. Thereâs still hope in my heart that we are what was meant to be. We must battle our demons and gain strength to reunite the love that once shined. Our hearts have callused but time heals all wounds. Patience and time can mend it all.
I need to remind myself of these words, daily.
I think I did it.
I think I have let go of Taylor completely. I can get on with my life now. I can start taking care of me now. I can, confidently, meet someone new.
After being in the hospital for the last three days
I've finally realized, after also waiting for some sort of closure or answer, that Taylor does not care about me. That he does not want anything to do with me or my life. That what has happened, is the past and that's it. You don't ignore someone you care about for 4 months. You don't leave them hanging. You don't just sit back and watch them torture themselves over something, even if the something is them. Thats not caring. If he cared, he would have let me know, but he didn't. I don't even know if he ever did. I mean, I'm starting to believe it was all just the drugs. They masked what he really felt about me and when he was finally clean, he realized he never loved me to begin with. But I don't know. It doesn't really matter what I think or what I know because it's all finished with. If he cared in any way, he'd be here for me now, in this time of need. This is the first year I have to experience this mourning. He was there when I got the call that my dad was dead. He was there when I made the funeral arrangements. He was there when I went to pick up how car. He was there for the funeral. But, it's a year later and he's just as gone as my dad is. It doesn't matter how much it hurts, how much I hate it or want to change it, it is what it is and I'm not in control of what destiny has for us. Maybe 2017 will bring good things.
