Can you believe they had the nerve, the gall, the gumption to cut when book Peeta says “You here to finish me off, sweetheart?”, one of the most iconic lines that established his flirty personality and cute banter with Katniss?? I’m fully aware that Ser Crispin Cole and Rhaenyra’s relationship will go terrible and I’m 100% a Rhaenyra x Daemon shipper but the sex scene being soft, intimate and erotic was my favourite thing of this episode.

i just can’t move on from that ─── the way he was breathless, his gentle tone, the fact that he repeated what he wanted like he was begging viserys: "wed her to me […] i want rhaenyra, i’ll take her as she is, and wed her […] give me rhaenyra to take to wife" . . . he was hungover, letting his feelings talk for him for once. he had never received the attention from the people he truly wanted and rhaenyra showed him that she wanted him as much.

that night he realised what she meant to him. he realised that he wanted to marry her, not for the throne, just because he loves her.

it was in the way he was waiting for her to accept what he had to offer, the way he stopped kissing her just to look at her face, treasuring her with his eyes and hands, the way he caressed her hair, her face, her lips, the way he fought to stop when he realised that he couldn’t do that to her.
