Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them: Avery.
Who starts the tickle fights: Avery. Mari regrets letting him know that she’s ticklish.
Who starts the pillow fights: Mari, mainly as revenge.
Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile: Well, probably Avery– but Mari (on the occasion she stays up late enough) will sometimes do the ‘watching you sleep’ thing, though she always makes it weird, the doofus.
Who mistakes salt for sugar: Mari, though it’s usually in the form of accidentally adding sugar where salt should go, then claiming she did it on purpose, because don’t dis sugar fries you Yankee.
Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1 am in the morning: Avery.
Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines: Are you kidding they’re both fucking jokers.
Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order: Avery is probably the more OCD of the two– Mari just wants to read her damn books and not deal with the consequences.
Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies: Both of them. Sometimes there’s a fight between who gets it, and both are impulsive enough to try and scoop some out of the others’ mouth if said other sticks the whole thing in their mouth.
Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion: Mari, because fire’s pretty.
Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen: Mari.
Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation: Probably Aves.
Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines: Avery.
