Today I started to wonder why people love sunsets so much. Think about it -  on any given day, there is only one sunrise, one sunset. Only one. Once a day for every day that you live your life. And the most beautiful part, the most colorful, the most striking part of the sunset only lasts for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes in 24 hours and you have to catch it only to appreciate the beauty of it at its peak. It’s like puppy love, falling in love for a moment, glimpsing the most beautiful part of what you perceive the other person to be and how they make you feel. And then before you know it, it’s over. And the cycle repeats. And we all know as a human condition, nothing really ever lasts forever, but the transience is what makes it all the more beautiful, all the more appreciated. I would fall in love every day with you, sunset. I would fall in love to appreciate you, like I would life. (at Esplendor Hotel Tamarindo)
