ARIES - Slept-in Make-up: You literally want to start with yesterday’s eyeliner, but that’s nasty, so.. Take a black or brown kohl pencil, line your eyes, then use your finger or a smudge brush to really mess it up. Smudge it under your lower lash line, make it look lived-in. Or pack on black eyeliner and then wash your face. then add some mascara but like, clumpy mascara that looks like you slept in it, maybe even run your fingers through your lashes to separate them. for lips, use a lip stain and then mess it up with your finger so it looks like you’ve been kissing someone all night. and your hair needs to look like bedhead but sexy bedhead, so scrunch in some texturizing spray and just tousle it with your hands.
TAURUS - Soft Glam start with a full skincare routine because Taurus = luxury treatment. then use a really good primer, cause your foundation needs to be flawless. use a damp beauty sponge and really blend it out, then concealer under the eyes & blend blend blend. for eyes you want neutral tones, a light champagne shade on the lid, medium brown in the crease, then line with brown eyeliner really close to the lash line, curl lashes and use a lengthening mascara. brows need to be perfect, so use a spoolie and brow gel, lips should be a nude-pink. finish with a subtle highlight on the high points of the face.
GEMINI - Doll Glam you need false lashes, like the dramatic ones, maybe even colored ones if you’re feeling it. start with a really bright, almost white eyeshadow base, then use pink or purple tones, really pack them on the lid, blend up toward the brow. line your eyes with black eyeliner but make the line thick and wing it out, almost like a graphic liner for cheeks you want that doll flush, so use a bright pink blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend up toward your temples. lips need to be glossy GLOSSY, clear gloss over a pink lip liner can work.
CANCER - Scandinavian Make-up this is a “your skin but better” look, so you want a really light base, maybe even just tinted moisturizer or BB cream, spot conceal only where you need it. brows should look natural so just brush them up with a clear or tinted brow gel, maybe fill in sparse spots with tiny hair-like strokes. for eyes, just a wash of neutral brown shadow, mascara on top lashes only, and that’s it. lips should be your natural lip color but better, so maybe just a tinted lip balm or stain that matches your natural tone.
LEO - Mob Wife Make-up Leo is ruled by the sun, you need to be seen, you need the drama & luxury. This look is Italian-American glamour, old Hollywood meets modern baddie. start with a FULL glam base, full coverage everything, contour for the gods, carve out those cheekbones, hollow out the temples, slim the nose. then, for eyes go smoky. take a dark brown or black shadow and blend it through the crease and outer corner, but keep it neat, not messy. line the eyes with black liner, make it sharp and precise, then lashes that are dramatic but expensive-looking. lips are THE moment though. You need a brown-toned red or berry, line them first with a liner that matches, then fill in with lipstick, blot, powder, lipstick again for that long-lasting look. hair needs to be sleek and perfect, like a blowout or slicked-back bun.
VIRGO - Toasty Girl Make-up this is giving me autumn goddess, very wearable but elevated. start with a medium coverage base that looks natural, spot conceal, then use a bronzer that’s just one shade deeper than your skin & warm it up all over, forehead, cheeks, nose, chin. for eyes we want those burnt & warm brown tones, blend through the crease, pack a golden bronze on the lid, then use a deeper brown in the outer corner. mascara should be brown instead of black for that softer look. brows need to be groomed but natural, use a brow pencil that matches your hair. lips should be a warm nude or terracotta shade, something that looks like your lips but warmer & inviting.
LIBRA - Deer Eyes Doe eyes are the most classically beautiful, romantic, balanced, feminine eye shape (aligns with Libra, a Venus-ruled sign) start with a neutral eyeshadow base, maybe a soft champagne or peachy tone all over the lid. then create a rounded, soft shape with eyeliner that makes your eyes look bigger & more “innocent”. line the upper lash line but keep it thin and follow your natural eye shape, then lightly line the lower lash line but focus more on the outer two-thirds. false lashes are key but they need to be wispy and natural-looking, even just individual lashes on the outer corners to lift and open the eyes can work. highlight the inner corners with a light champagne shade, use concealer under the eyes to brighten. lips should be a soft pink or nude-pink, very romantic the whole look should be giving “effortlessly beautiful, I could be a Renaissance painting”
SCORPIO - Smokey Eyes Scorpio is intensity, mystery, s*x appeal, and smokey eyes are the ULTIMATE seductive look. start with a really dark base on the eyes, could be charcoal, deep brown, even burgundy or dark purple. pack the dark shade all over the lid, blend it up & out, then take an even darker shade and press it into the outer corner and crease. smudge that same dark color under the lower lash line, really smoke it out so there’s no harsh lines. the key is making it look sultry and lived-in. lashes need to be thick & dramatic, use falsies or layer two coats and let it get a little clumpy lips should be deep & rich: a dark berry or wine color, blood red, etc. Nude also works.
SAGITTARIUS - Latte Make-up this look has lots of coffee & caramel tones. to achieve it, start with a base product that gives you a healthy glow. for eyes we want those latte colors (warm browns, caramels, cinnamon). blend a light caramel shade on the lid, medium coffee brown in the crease, then ab espresso shade just in the outer corner. mascara should be brown instead of black for a softer, warmer look. for cheeks use a peachy-brown blush & lips should be a warm nude or light brown, something that looks like milky coffee.
CAPRICORN - Unapproachable Make-up Capricorn can be a VERY intimidating energy, almost untouchable. Y’all are ice-queens ! So for this look, start with a flawless base, full coverage foundation can work too. contour should be sharp & precise, really carve out those cheekbones and jawline to create an angular bone structure. for eyes cool tones, grays, silvers, icy blues, or even just black and white are great. the eyeliner + brows need to be SHARP & lashes should be perfectly separated. For lips, try a (cool-toned) nude, or dark berry.
AQUARIUS - 90s/2000s Make-up you are the rebel & innovator, bringing back something from the past (Saturn) in a totally new way (Aqua). start with a matte base. Then for eyes go for frosted shadows, silver, blue, purple, the metallic shades that were everywhere back then. eyeliner should be either super thin & precise or chunky & graphic. maybe even use colored liner (blue, purple, silver). mascara can be clumpy & dramatic, colored mascara too if you’re really going for it. don’t forget the body glitter and highlight, we WANT that glow. lips are either super glossy and clear, or frosted. Don’t forget about the concealer-lips trend from the early 2000s (but modernized with dark liner).
PISCES - Vanilla Make-up start with a really dewy, glowy base, maybe even skip foundation and just use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream, you want that natural skin texture to show through. for eyes use soft, warm vanilla tones (champagne, soft gold, peachy-pink, cream colors). blend a soft champagne on the lid, a peachy tone in the crease, & keep everything soft and diffused. Mascara should be brown and natural, maybe even skip it entirely & just curl your lashes. brows = soft and feathery, just brush them up with a clear gel. the key to this look is the glow though. use cream highlighter on the high points but blend it so it looks like it’s coming from within your skin. lips should be your natural color but enhanced, use a tinted balm or gloss that makes them look juicy and natural.
