Woman of the Week: Nancy Skerrett

This week, the Woman of the Week is...Nancy Skerrett from ITV's Victoria!

What I like about her: Skerrett is such a wonderful character - she was so interesting from the first moment she appeared on screen. Her story is just so intriguing, and she has such a great relationship with Victoria over the seasons, going from junior dresser to one of Victoria's most trusted confidante's. Nell Hudson plays her so well, gives her such a passion for life and for love, and a great moral backbone. If you think of the show more as fiction, than reality (it may be based on reality, but it has been very dramatized, so it is more fiction), you see Skerrett as the character she was meant to be.

- I missed cooking for the Queen. It was foolish to think there was any job better than this.
