Sebastian didnât hide his pleasant surprise of Nani giving in to him so easily, knowing well how much that movie was like air to her. He had to hope choreography of this year was way better than what was going on in that movie, especially when it came to wedding dances that were shoved down his throat all around social media. Seb hadnât minded seeing PDA until Nani gave him an unconscious impression they werenât going to do anything that could give away the fact that their friendship was beyond a normal one when they were with other people. And that was an idea that he had grown accustomed to until she had decided to kiss him on a street and in front of a froyo place. It was really hard for him to focus on the kiss itself since there were so many things going through his head at once, and he was starting to repeat their conversation in his head to explain it. But he was soon brough in by her warmth under his touch and her forcefulness, making him think Nani had kissed him with calculated intention, and that made his mind calm down a little, but his insides do the opposite. She turned him into a mess. His lips subconsciously folded into a smile as she started talking, and he looked down into her dark hues a little confused about where she was going with it, but that was his general emotion about this situation at this point. The male inched his face away slightly to take a better look at her features for a moment. âWouldnât you want me to ask you that? With a big promposal worthy gesture?â he asked with curiosity, and tightened his arms around her, pulling her in. âWait,â he tilted his head to the side and gave her a suspicious look. âDoes that mean Iâll have to learn some High School Musical choreography too?â he looked as though he was even thinking about saying no, but then he gave her the warmest smile. âAnd thatâs a yes!â he confirmed and picked Nani up, whirling around with her.
For the first time, Nani didnât immediately regret her words as they left her lips. Did putting herself out there scare the hell out of her? Of course. There was always the constant fear that Sebastian would one day wake up or realize that sheâs not at all worth the trouble that she constantly caused him. It wasnât like he couldnât get other girls â look at him. That punk label could only keep him down so much, which was a thought in her mind as he pulled back and her brown hues skimmed over his suspicious features. The fact that he didnât answer her right away caused her heart to sink. What if the conversation in the car had done enough damage to make him think twice? Her lips parted to do what she normally did when she felt vulnerable â deter. However, she wasnât able to get anything out before he finally spoke and put her mind at absolute ease. âMe?â She exhaled, soft smile curving on her lips as she shook her head slowly, âI donât need big gestures â you know that.â All she needed was him, really. Besides, Nani had never really felt worthy of things like that. Especially knowing how hard to handle she could be. It was her turn to put in a little effort and she would if thatâs what it would take for him to stick around. ââThough youâd definitely get some major brownie points for HSM choreography. I've always wanted a real life Troy Bolton,â she quickly added, feeling the need to tease him in the midst of such a raw moment between the two of them. Her gaze was still attempting to read his mind through his expression, but it was coming up short. With every second that passed Nani felt as if sheâd implode if he didnât just rip off the bandaid and answer. There was a sudden shift in his look and she was almost certain that he was about to come up with some excuse as to why he couldnât go. That was until a warm smile spread across his lips and he scooped her up into his arms. As he spun the two of them around, bubbling laughter poured from the brunette's lips. âYeah? You will?â She asked again, while wrapping her arms around his neck to support herself, "Wait -- do you want a promposal sized gesture because I can totally do cheesy if that's what you're into."
âLook⌠I donât.. I donât want to talk about what happened,â Gregory said, avoiding their eyes as he put on a fresh shirt that someone else had to lend him. Heâd just been lucky there was a spare after that girl had thrown up on him.Â
âI mean, fair enough.â her shoulder leaned against the doorframe as her dark hues skimmed over the changing boy with little to no regard for his privacy, âBut if you want my advice â maybe try to get ahead of this whole thing because if not youâll probably always be remembered as the guy who got thrown up on at the end of summer bash. People love to remember.â
Iâm afraid to love you. Iâm afraid that youâll leave and that Iâll go back to being alone again. Only it will be a hundred times worse because Iâll know what Iâm missing. âŚI want to be able to love you more than I fear losing you, and I donât know how. Teach me⌠Please teach me. Donât let me destroy this.
Mia Sheridan, Archerâs Voice (via wordsnquotes)
âIt was so horrible though,â he added while shaking his head in disbelief. To him it was obvious that the movie was filmed ten years ago and the song was definitely not made for a wedding dance, but he was slightly surprised at himself of how much he remembered about the movies; maybe it was because Nani had nudged him, which sometimes just woke him up, every time her favorite scene or song came on. Sebastian let out a chuckle at the girls words and bit in his lip afterwards. âYes, Nani, you donât even realize how lucky you are that you have me. Imagine there are guys out there who could actually say no to you. Crazy, right?â he joked in the same manner and widened his eyes at her. In a way he was just making fun of himself for being such a pushover for her, but that was nothing new to either of them. It wasnât as though he forced himself to sit through movies she liked, he enjoyed most of them and had a pretty open-minded taste in pretty much everything except for humor and clothes, but just the ones that went on him. The male tried to push away the idea of her attempting to do the same things they did with some other guy, but that didnât come easy to him when a certain question was pushing itself inbetween them. And he had wanted to avoid being the one who brought it up, but here they were. As soon as he had closed the door of his car, he took a deep breath and with that prepared for that being the end of their conversation. He hadnât planned to get worked up about something so simple, so as he walked around the car he had almost come up with a different topic of conversation when he saw her get out of the car. Nani looked upset, worried, guilty, all of that or one of that or maybe some of each, he wasnât sure what she was feeling or thinking. His brows furrowed slightly as he waited for her to continue and he felt like she was taking forever; he felt like it must have been something important and that created a nervous tingling in his stomach. Seb was so confused for the split second when he realized their lips were connection, but he wrapped his arms around her and gave in to her lips soon enough. And he thought to himself if she didnât want to say anything, kissing him like this in a situation that wasnât under influence or late at night in his bedroom was a good enough way to prove him she was serious about them.
Nani's features distorted as if his comment toward the dance was actually a personal attack. Her lips parted to protest his words but instead she decided to let it go. The last thing they needed was to get into some full on war about whether or not the high school musical choreography was of quality or not. But for the record, it was. Her lips upturned into a faint smile, head slowly shaking back and forth. It wasn't at the idea of guys telling her no, but at the idea of her giving any other guy the opportunity to. Whether she'd ever vocalize it or God forbid Sebastian catch on, Nani wasn't interested in entertaining others. In fact, the mere thought of finding a guy who gave her the kind of warm fuzzy feelings the male next to her did felt like an impossible task. She was in deep with this one even if it was never her intention. It wasn't clear when things shifted in their friendship. Nani had thought it over a thousand times just sitting in her bedroom -- trying to pinpoint the exact moment when she realized she wanted more from him, Maybe it was the first time they had sex or one of the many nights he saved her from herself by picking her up from a club. Either way as she got out of the car and melted into his body, she wanted to pour those emotions out into the kiss. So she did despite the ever present fear of him rejecting such advances. Her stomach was in knots up until the moment she felt his lips begin to move against hers allowing her to relax in place. Every bit of nerves she had seemed to melt away the second his arms pulled her in. Nani was much better at showing what was going on in her mind than admitting it out loud which explained why she continued to hook up with him while remaining silent about why. "Seb..." she trailed off as she pulled back just enough to speak quietly against his mouth. She let his name linger in the air around them for a moment before placing her hand on his chest where her fingers could grasp the fabric of his shirt, "This is gonna sound so lame and I swear to God if you mock me for it, I will personally kick your ass all the way back to Southbank," she paused to look into those heartwrenching hazel eyes of his, "--do you think that maybe you'd wanna go to to that stupid fall dance, you know, with me?"
The boy raised his eyebrows at her, definitely hadnât expected the girlâs unnecessary comment. âJeez, who lit the fuse on your tampon?â MatĂas asked before he stepped aside, so he wasnât blocking her locker.
Nani rolled her eyes as she pushed past him to get to her locker. After putting in her combination, she gently snatched it open and proceeded to take a couple of books out. "What business is that of yours?" she decided to entertain what was now shifting into a conversation instead of the quick exchange of words she had been hoping for.
Sebastian didnât say anything for a moment, because he wasnât sure if itâd be appropriate to let out a laugh at her words. But he reckoned it would sound like a dry awkward laugh with the purpose of filling out his response to what she had confessed. âDonât tell me the whole choreography would also be a part of it,â he responded lightly and then nodded to himself as if he had finally got used to the idea of Nani wanting a wedding like that. âI think thereâs something beautiful about elopement weddings, and is there such a big deal about what the couple decides to play for their first dance? Shouldnât be a problem. Unless your future spouse just really despises High School Musical. But could you even marry someone who hated it?â Seb rambled; maybe it was because the two definitely had been avoiding all future conversations possible, weddings and marriage included. The male thought about her point of view and picked on the leather on the wheel as he drove; her words created a stupid feeling in his gut and it turned into plain guilt. âYouâre right,â he said after a few moments and parked the car near their destination before turning himself towards her slightly. âIâm sorry. I was being selfish and I didnât think about how youâd feel,â Seb said while looking deep into her eyes and let out a sigh. He had just blamed his actions on what he was used to doing and that didnât lead to anything good, and he sure as hell knew Nani was worth putting all the effort in. Despite the fact that he was still very much unsure what they were. âForget it, I shouldnât have brought it up,â he pushed out quickly and glanced away from her and over his shoulder to get out of the car as soon as possible. He wasnât running away from her, but he did feel the need to get bits of fresh air to collect his thoughts. If he had brought this conversation up under different circumstances he might have had the guts to push her into giving him some clarity on what was going on between them. But now he was just afraid of being the cause of another argument after the last one had barely finished and mostly, he was afraid of scaring her away.
"Oh obviously it would," she joked as if he'd be stupid to assume otherwise. It was odd talking about something as delicate as wedding songs and elopements given the two of them couldn't even address the elephant in the room when it came to the obvious feelings between them. However, it was fun to pretend for just a second that things weren't complicated and that Nani had every reason and right to expect such a future with someone one day. Her tongue ran over her bottom lip to prep it before her front teeth eventually sank down into it, "You mean to tell me that there are boys in this world who don't like High School Musical?" Her features took on a state of shock, playing into her role "Have I been spoiled to think that they're all as game as you are to listen to my soundtrack and have movie marathons with me?" As the words rolled off of her tongue, so did a soft, relaxed chuckle. She loved moments like these -- just sitting in the passenger seat of his car tossing banter back and forth. There was a time before Sebastian that Nani didn't think she'd find little glimpses of happiness. Life seemed to hit her all at once and while it would have been easy for her to let it get the best of her, just having him in her life had given her a reason not to. So with that said, why was it so hard for her to give him what he so clearly wanted from her? Even now as he brushed her off and climbed out of the car with signs of frustration in his tone, Nani couldn't utter a single word that would cause him to remain in place. She wanted to, though. God, did she want to. Her head collapsed back against the head rest while she silently cursed at herself for being so stupid. After taking a moment to collect her thoughts, she pulled herself from the car and exhaled. "Seb, wait." Her body gravitated toward him effortlessly, "I..." she trailed off while casting her gaze up at him. What she wanted to say was I love you but I'm terrified of losing you but what she did instead was reach up and urge his face forward until their lips collided in a kiss she knew would most likely confuse him further.
âSee? You donât want to get me that far, trust me,â he warned her, amusement in his features, having guesses about what David had probably told her and how much he had overexaggerated, but this time it came in handy. Only for a moment his eyes glanced back at her and at her deciding on the music they were going to listen to before they were back on the road. He had to let out a laugh at her words, mostly by how serious she was taking the topic. âOh, my mistake,â he said acting apologetic and pressing his hand to his chest towards her. âWhy did you chose that one? I canât have this dance in a car ride,â he expressed his disappointment and took up the speed of the car even though they were near their destination. Sebastian swallowed hard and narrowed his eyes at the road, trying to analyze the point she was making. It was pretty obvious, wasnât it? Many people tended to keep things inside, but he somehow always thought he was different. Sebastianâs problem was that he let too many things that messed him up slide, trying to get over everything at once and moving only forward all the time, so sometimes he didnât even realize something was going on with him. That was until someone like Nani suddenly stood in his way and started asking questions, only then he was forced to look back at his life. âItâs just never come naturally to me,â he shrugged licking his lips before he continued. âItâs not how I function. I mean, I can try, but whatâs wrong with you just asking me? I will tell you everything,â he responded, and at the back of his mind he knew Nani was probably not going to be pleased with his answer. âNani,â her name slipped over his tongue with slight frustration in his eyes. He was trying to understand if she really was clueless or acting so just to make him take the first step. He was thinking about a way to get it all out for a few moments that seemed to last very long before he let out a sigh. âI guess there isnât one, right?â
"You really wanna know?" she mused while tipping her gaze in his direction. There was a brief pause as if she were trying to contemplate whether or not this was the kind of information she'd share with anyone let alone Sebastian. Eventually her shoulders rolled into a shrug, "As disgustingly cheesy as it sounds -- I love this song and I swear to God if you ever tell anyone I would totally deny it but somewhere deep, and I mean deep, in my High School Musical heart there's this vision of if I ever did find someone to want to actually marry me, we'd dance to this stupid song at our wedding -- or elopement since there is no way in hell I'd ever afford a wedding with incarcerated parents flipping the bill." A small smile had formed on her lips, one that she quickly tucked away. Nani didn't often go into her own little dream world because ever since her parent's arrests, there wasn't much hope for the kind of future she had once pictured. She wasn't even the same girl who had conjured these notions up. Nani realized that she had let her thoughts play out on her features and she quickly washed her expression away knowing that Seb would harp on the subject if she didn't. Luckily for her he began talking again only this time it was her that felt cheated by his response. "I don't want to prod you for information. I mean, that's not exactly how this works. Take this whole sitation for example. Had you just told me about your dad, I wouldn't have begged you to stay at the party nor would I have lost sleep over why the hell you weren't responding to any of my stuff." It wasn't her intention to try and guilt trip him even further but she wanted him to see things her way on this situation, not just for her but for him. As Seb exhaled her name, she sank down in to the cushion. Her heart was in her throat but she didn't let that show on her face. Instead she glanced over at him to find his frustrated glare. It was at this point that Nani had a decision to make, both of which ended in potential loss of the one person who meant the most to her. "--I don't know what you want me to say," she murmured.
My girlfriend just asked me to learn sign language with her so she can tell me how bad she wants to fuck me in front of my parents
Matias was getting his school books out of his locker, earphones in his ears as he was in his own little world. âThere was something in the air that night. The stars were bright, Fernando,â the boy sang the mamma mia song quietly. Once he found all his books, he turned around to walk away. He jumped a little when he saw someone standing next to him. âJesus, how long have you been standing there?â
âLong enough to know your taste in music is shit,â the girl answered, âand youâre blocking my locker.â Nani hadnât been in the greatest of moods lately so her attitude wasnât at all geared specifically toward the male as much as it was toward the general public. Her eyebrow lifted, âSo could you like move or...?â
Youâre playing dirty.
Commotion in this school was white noise to the curly haired sophomore, but this girl was being bold about it. She wanted everyone and their mothers to know she was mad at who cares what, and it was nothing but cringy to Felix. He just wanted to watch the entertainment turmoil before she whipped around, looking like a feral dog at the group that was onlooking. Most probably pretended they werenât looking, but he wasnât looking away in shame. Why bother when that was her goal? âWho fucking cares who did it?â he argues back. He was hanging out with trashmouths too much, he was bound to get decked in the face.
Her darken gaze skimmed the group of boys standing in front of her for the source of such a sharp tongue. When she finally found the one who had spoken up, her glare narrowed in on him. "Who fucking cares?" she repeated back to him while taking a step forward, "Listen here you little dipshit. I am not the kind of person you want to mess with -- understood? I don't know what these barbie doll bitches let you get away with around here, but speak to me like that again and you'll become well aquainted with this floor we're standing on."
