I finished watching season one of The Pitt last night and great show I’m loving it so far. I am on episode 2 of the second season. I love Mel so much but I also like all the characters so far. My only question is that prior to watching the show I saw that Langdon had a lot of people that hated him/didn’t like him and is that people he’s a drug addict? Because of his argument with Robby at the end of the first season? Because I had a friend tell me I was going to hate Langdon by the end of season one and I just don’t. I don’t agree with what he did but I certainly don’t hate him for it

I have just started Percy Jackson and the Olympians book 4. I have never read the series before and I am enjoying it. That being said, with the show and people talking about it and what they want for future seasons, I have to be very carefully to avoid book spoilers.

I have decided to try dark romances and I have started with The Legacy of Gods series by Rina Kent. So far I have read God of Malice and I’m half way through God of Pain. I also listened to Kiss the Villain. Can I say I love these books? No, but I am very entertained by them so I will continue to read

I’m going to assume Ilya was going to either be sharing Shane’s clothes or wearing as little clothes as possible at all times because his suitcase was small for staying in a cottage for 2 weeks

With the success of Heated Rivalry is inevitable that the second season is going to have a bigger budget but please, for the love of all that’s good, use the budget on the sets and locations and not makeup and wardrobe. I feel like a lot of times when shows get more money the actors start looking very polished to the point that it takes me out of the story and one of the reasons I love this show is that they look like normal people so please do not make them look too made up

Also can i say that i think the elevation of Svetlana’s inclusion in the show was so fantastic not just because Ilya needed another character in his life to bounce off of dialogue wise but also because it showed how he behaves when he’s comfortable. He’s always laying in her lap and getting pet, joking around with silly voices, he likes to play and rough house and we see glimpses of that with Svet because she’s his childhood friend, so slowing seeing those behaviors come out as he gets more settled with Shane was so incredibly sweet and rewarding.

Ok, the call back to the first episode, the first time Shane and Ilya hooked up. The first time it was in a hotel room, no windows, the middle of the night, dark. Now, in the cottage when they first get there and they start hooking up in Shane’s room, it’s the same sequence, Shane is pushed up against (a window this time) they are even kissing the same way and then Shane drops to his knees but this time, it’s in a beautiful cottage, the middle of the day, windows everywhere, light. They are done hiding what they want and who they are

Also I love how wonderfully unhelpful Ilya was at Shane’s parent’s house! He said they were “lovers” he just HAD to make it clear that the started messing around BEFORE their rookie season and that they weren’t in love that whole time but just… lol I love him

He does get bonus points for saying he’s only ever been in love with Shane
