a while ago i was joking with my partner about how Xigbar is "the most usamerican kingdom hearts character," because he has a very californian accent/way of speaking, and he's "cowboy-coded" (his bandana as braig, using twin arrowguns that he spins around like revolvers, later i'd fund out about the showdown thing in the remind data battle)

and as an example of how Surfers and Cowboys are the two biggest symbols of USAmerican Culture in japanese media, i showed them the neo-america gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam:

it's red white and blue, is piloted by a guy named Chibodee Crockett, and, relevant to my explanation, has two revolvers and uses a surfboard as a shield. therefore: xigbar, Most USAmerican Kingdom Hearts Character
