it really was supposed to only be a week but then things went downhill sooooo fast

Well, it was, like a strange... way that I got into acting, I got spotted on a street when I was fifteen. So, I'd kind of, like- I'd done, like little school plays and things like that, when I was younger. Usually, I'd get, like, one line! It was never something that I was- particularly thought... I would think about, as a career. Um, but then I got this, like, little job on MySpace, it was like a MySpace online series(that's how old it was!). And... And then, I got an agent, and then I just started doing, like, little jobs here and there, like, I did, like, Casualty and, like, Holby City, and like all the kinds of things you do in the UK when you first start. Um, and then, slowly, kind of realized that I liked it and that I was good at it. (...) So it was definitely kind of... a sloooow realization and understanding, and, um... and then I would say, once I kind of got into my 20s and started working more and got more, uh... confident with it, and figured it out, that I really grew to love it, and... started working more, it became, like, a full-time job. And... now, here I am!

He zipped the master key up off his hip, flicked the lock open, and yanked the door up a couple of feet off the ground. Naomi knew the only option when she saw it. She dropped to the floor and rolled under the door, into the darkness on the other side. Teacake didn't open the door any farther; he didn't want to in case he had to close it quickly and lock her in, which he was fully prepared to do. If Mike had been rounding the corner already, he would have done it and fought the fucker one-on-one, gun or no gun, but when he looked back the hallway was clear, though Mike's semihuman cries of rage were coming this way.”

#love that you love my little hc bc to me it was floating around in the back of her mind and she decided she had to tell him in the unit #im gonna be so honest though. i have Zero clue how the flashlight even rolls out of the unit sdfdsfds #its right in front of him when he's making the shushing motion to naomi and in no position to create the rolling direction it ends up in #but then its Gone when he moves to close the door and she stops him? and then it come back to start rolling????#like i know in reality this was likely a planned gag the whole time and this scene is comprised of various takes #where the flashlight got moved around a lot and its location was missed in the edit cause its such a small detail #but idk sdfsdf i lost my Mind breaking down that bit months ago #<- i have also thought about this a bajillion times...#i was like ''did he need to stretch his leggy out? was he feeling stiff?'' but idk #could've kept sarah in the convo in the storage unit or the scene where he tries to get naomi to leave smh /hj #i think in part cause while its funny i dont think the flashlight bit was really necessary #when they had the drum set gag lined up immediately after?#<- I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING! like... why have two sort of similar gags???#makes me wonder if only one of those gags was in the script initially and the other one came about closer to the day of filming #since iirc the unit they lock themselves in in the book has no mention of being full of instruments like the one in the film does #<- there was nothing super specific about the unit they were in iirc so that might be the case? wonder which was originally in the script #loooove this scene. love the thems and the way they look at each other and communicate through looks alone ❤️🩵#<- yes! i do too! the different ways they look at and communicate with each other is so special to me!!!#cold storage #mike snyder #travis ''teacake'' meacham
