Making things yourself is not ghetto, it’s being resourceful, being creative. Though I’m not sure why I continue suggesting things if you feel like all of that is beneath you and complaining about not having decorations is a better way to spend your freetime. 

Actually no, she hasn’t. I’m not religious myself, nor am I that old-fashioned in my beliefs that I think that it can only be with someone you love. But wanting to sleep with someone you hate is something I, and most likely other people without Puckerman genes, think is quite strange.

You can pretty much make decoration from stuff like an egg carton or an empty toilet roll if you think outside the box enough. You don’t have a stack or paper? Paint? Crayons? Pencils? Markers? Maybe you’re just not trying hard enough. You don’t have money for a tree? Could always get creative, though I know that’s hard for you, and craft some decorations yourself. Introduce your jewish family to the wonders of Chrismukkah, which has proven to be a hit in another Puckerman household. …Yes, definitely… crystal clear… though admittely it raises the question as to why one would do that, just for the sake of proving a meaningless point.

I’ve been trying to for the past two replies. It’s clearly not getting me anywhere. Why don’t I celebrate Christmas? Maybe because I don’t have the money to celebrate it. At least not while i’m living with my mother. Didn’t you call me out on being poor the first time we talked? Trust me, if I did, my house would be covered in Christmas tinsel and the scent of Christmas cookies, even if my brother and mother are Jewish.... I did, he got me a gift, a singular gift. It wasn’t extravagant, nor expensive. It was actually rather simple. We’re not doing much of the other things people do on Christmas, like put up a tree, or hang lights, or much of the things I used to do before I came to Lima. I’d say it adds up just fine. Good, she should. No one should miss out of celebrating Christmas... Well, mister “I’m so much smarter than you”, what do you think it means? Sure, cute excuse. Not my fault that you just don’t have the wits to keep up with me. No, they’re not, not even close, and if you can’t see that yourself then I guess you really have a long way to go still. Why is it a shame? It’s just a ridiculous commercialized holiday where people are expected to spend money in order to show that they care about others. I’m celebrating Christmas with my brother this year, and we’re doing it without the commercialized bullshit. The real meaning of Christmas is spending time with family and friends, people that matter to you. But I guess you’re missing out. ...You never know, Fabray. Want to know what else kills the Holiday spirit? Having to deal with you, even during my Christmas break, Fabray. What an odd way to spend Christmas this year, so far away from home. It really goes to show what can be taken for granted when you have it right at your finger tips for years, no worries of it not being there. I will say, however, this Christmas hasn’t been entirely bad. My brother actually got me a gift, it was something small, but it was cute all the same.
