Baby Narcissa. (A lady even then)
'1, 2, 3, 4..'
She runs away as he counts, giggling. Hiding behind a tree.
He looks up as he reached 10. He smiled, when he saw a blonde wisp of hair blowing in the wind.
'Found you, Cissa!'
'Lucy! You cheated!'

Escaping | Lucissa
Lucius’ smile only broadened at her admission that she’d been craving some time just for the two of them as well. It had been on his mind all night long, but he hadn’t found it appropriate to ditch their guests and make a run for it, even if tonight was meant to be for them. Still, with most of the celebrations behind their backs, the two could afford some downtime. It would be a while until anyone noticed their absence, most likely, and even then, it was well within their rights as an engaged couple to enjoy each other’s company.
They would do well not to take too long, of course, lest they should rouse any suspicions, but Lucius imagined they had something like fifteen minutes before a house elf was sent looking. He’d noticed Narcissa’s discomfort at James’ presence, but she didn’t seemed incline to breach the subject, and so he said nothing of it. Instead, he pressed his lips to hers again, a touch more insistently this time, his hands coming to rest on the small of her back and drawing her in slightly possessively.
"I wish you could stay over tonight," he whispered against her lips in between kisses. The holidays seemed so much longer when he couldn’t even see her properly… At least Hogwarts was good to them in that way.
Narcissa’s eyes fell shut easily as she lost herself in Lucius’ kisses, just as she always did, and her hands came up and cupped the side of his neck and his jaw. She hummed against his lips in response to his wish. Before their engagement, it wouldn’t have even been a problem; they’d stayed over at each other’s houses since they were little. When she stayed over, they usually set her up in a guest room once she got older, but even before she realized how she felt about him, she usually found herself back in his room. Looking back on it now, it seemed so silly that she hadn’t realized sooner how she felt, how he felt, but the truth of it now was blaring.
“Me too,” she murmured against his lips. Her soft lips trailed down his jaw, to his neck while her hand trailed down his chest. When she paused, there was a devious grin on her features. Ever since she’d given Lucius his early Christmas present, she couldn’t really seem to keep her hands off of them, especially when he kissed her the way that he did. With the amount of time she was spending with him, she was partially afraid that he would eventually get tired of her, since Hogwarts didn’t prevent them from spending any time together, apart from classes. “We have time out here…” She purred before her lips moved back to his.

Lucius had been enjoying their ball surprisingly much, given that all his relatives were present. But then, so were a lot of friends, all of whom he was happy to see. There were the odd unwanted guests, like James Potter, but altogether, it was shaping up to be a good evening for all. He kept an eye on Narcissa at all times, even when their obligations led them away and into the company of other people. She was always there, in the back of his mind, as he manoeuvred through one daft conversation after the other.
He couldn’t help the furrow to his brows at the sight of one Amycus Carrow getting a touch too close with his fiancé for the young man’s tastes, but that could be addressed later. No point causing a fuss during their big night. A wave of relief washed over him, however, at the feeling of a small, familiar hand slipping into his. He gave Cissa a sidelong glance and a smile, and then followed her lead the moment his conversation with yet another aunt could be considered over. Hand still around hers, he led the blonde aside and into a corridor off the main hall. Once they were out of earshot, he rested his back against the wall and gave her a long, loving gaze.
"Thank you for getting me out of there," he murmured, drawing her in for a soft kiss. "How has your night been going, my love?"
Narcissa could tell that she was rescuing Lucius from a dull conversation and smiled to herself, happy to be able to do so for him as he led the way out of the main hall. The corners of her lips curved upwards in that special, soft smile that she reserved only for him. Her arms moved up to circle his neck, taking great pleasure in the soft kiss from the older boy.
"Anytime, love," she said. "It's been going well, but it's even better now. I've been wanting to steal you away all evening," she admitted sheepishly. It was true that she'd seen James at the ball, which had been surprising at first, but then just... awkward. She was a little thankful that he didn't go out of his way to talk to her, but as stated before, the blonde was more preoccupied with Lucius.
Escaping | Lucissa
[Even when the blonde wasn't with him, Narcissa's bright blue eyes stayed on Lucius, smiling fondly. She was playing the part of the happy fiance perfectly... but it wasn't an act; even if their parents had been the one to arrange this engagement and this ball, she was still happy with the outcome. She loved Lucius Malfoy.
After her dance with Amycus she excused herself and approached Lucius while he was having a conversation with someone. She stealthily slipped her hand into his and gave it a squeeze, waiting for a lull in the conversation before she cut in.] Excuse me, I need to borrow Lucius for a moment. [She gave the other person a smile and looked to Lucius expectantly.]
Merry [Early] Christmas | Lucissa
If he’d known she was so worried, he would have taken the time to reassure her that she could never do wrong by him. Not here, not now, not like this. No matter what she did, he would love it, love her, more than he’d thought himself capable. Merlin knew he wasn’t by nature an affectionate man, but everything he kept from the others was hers for the taking, and try as he might, he could find nothing wrong about letting down his walls to this one person. If anyone deserved that sort of trust, it was Narcissa. Only in her would he confide anything and everything.
But she seemed so confident, so ready for this, that he didn’t even pause to consider she might’ve been uneasy at some point. In his eyes, she had nothing to worry over, no cause for anxiety. He took her all in thirstily, like a man who’d never touched a woman before. And in a way she made him feel that way, as if no one before her had been worth it.
As she rolled her hips, his eyes fell closed for a moment, hands abandoning the corset for the moment and wandering downward to rest on her lower back. He pulled her in gently, moving her body the way she had, his own rising to meet her. His lips never left hers as he did it, a few sharp breaths finding their way into the kiss. After a few more repetitions he trusted she’d caught on to how much he liked it, and returned to fiddling with her corset. After a few more tugs, the lacing came undone finally and he pulled out the long string, letting it fall to the floor. The back of the garment had opened about an inch and he ran a finger down her spine before his hands went around her waist again. His lips trailed kisses along her jaw, down her neck and to the edge of her corset, where he paused, patiently waiting for her to shed it.
Merry [Early] Christmas | Lucissa
Lucius followed her movement until he found himself sitting in the couch, arms immediately going out to wrap around her waist and draw her in. Their kisses were getting deeper now, breaths coming in raspy, both eagerly exploring the other one’s body. He pulled back slightly as she fiddled with his buttons and quickly undid the rest of them for her, shrugging off the shirt as he pressed their lips back together. One hand went up to tangle into her hair while the other wrapped around the small of her back, pressing her down against his burning body.
A part of his mind wondered if she’d ever done anything of the sort before. He knew she’d been with Potter for a while, but had it gone anywhere? No, he doubted that. There was a purity to her movements, her reactions, something he didn’t think she could’ve had with the Gryffindor. She was his, perfectly his, and always had been. He made a point of being especially gentle when the moment came, and dedicating her the time and affection she deserved. Hate it as she might, his experience would actually be useful in knowing exactly how to treat her. His Cissa deserved the best.
He was enjoying how she took the initiative, his body readily responding to her every touch, fingers tracing lightly over her skin as they moved down to where her corset was laced. He untied the bow in one smooth, slow gesture, and started loosening the remainder of the silky strings that held her breathless. He couldn’t wait to get her out of it, but with the amount of effort she’d put in, taking his time was he least he could do.
Narcissa pulled back when Lucius did, the sight of him helping her unbutton his shirt obliterating any worries she could have had about doing something wrong. Her slender, soft hands were on him quickly, running over his chest and torso until his hand pressed against her, their bodies coming together like the pieces of a puzzle; perfectly. The young blonde had always found Lucius attractive, but she had never taken the time to appreciate it beyond their normal exchange of affection. Now that there wasn’t even the smallest of spaces between them, her hands found themselves cupping the back of his neck, her kisses were hungrier, but still somewhat innocent.
That first night that they shared together, she was still dealing with the aftermath and the frustration from their heated kisses coming to an end with no real ending. She wasn’t used to her body feeling that way and she wasn’t sure how to handle it and the more affection that he showered her with, the worse that feeling got. His hands pressing into her skin, her flesh on his, it was all intoxicating and it was so easy for her to lose herself in it.
She felt the confines of her corset loosen and shivered a little before she rolled her hips experimentally against his. The action prompted a gasp from her own lips and it escaped into the kiss; for what she hoped was the last time, Narcissa wondered if he liked it or approved of the action and wondered if maybe she should have warned him. No, that would have ruined the mood even more; they were going to be married, they had to take chances and experiment and discover what the other liked. This would be one of those times.
Oh Lucy! Where are you?
Cissy! I didn’t see you there…I’m not harassing Lucy…I just want to make sure he is treating you how you deserve to be treated…in all aspects of life.
This seems like my cue to exit the picture and let you ladies discuss my person freely. Not that my presence could stop you.
Lucius treats me like a princess, he always has... in all aspects. No need to worry, big sister.
[Narcissa turned to Lucius and looked up at him apologetically.] I'm sorry, love. I know how private you are.
Oh Lucy! Where are you?
Do not tell me who I should ask, Lucius Malfoy. I want to hear it from your lips.
Hear what? That I’m going to—… shag your sister? How is that any of your concern?
[Narcissa pinched the bridge of her nose.] Bella, I love you, but please stop harassing Lucius.
she's enough for me, she's in love with me | Lucissa
He could tell she was stumbling for words, trying to explain something or ask him or just to speak, and failing just like he was. In a way it made him feel even closer to her, this shared difficulty to talk about what had happened. But beyond that it was unnerving. He knew he could scarce speak around her, let alone about his feelings, and if she couldn’t either… Well, they were in for a rough ride. He walked a few more steps in silence before giving her a sidelong glance.
It just so happened that she was smiling at him at that precise moment, causing the breath to catch in his throat. No matter how bad things were, that smile would never fail to make them better. No matter how taut his nerves, she would soothe them. He couldn’t, and wouldn’t, fight the smile that curved his lips in response. So maybe they weren’t that lost, if they could still share little moments like those. He had to remind himself that underneath everything, they remained much as they’d always been: as close as humanly possible and entirely dependent on one another.
The thought brought with it a warm, full feeling. Not many people could say they’d met their soulmate, and yet there she was - his better half. Nothing could matter more than that, not even his pride. “I love you. You know that, right?” His gaze had softened as he moved closer, wrapping an arm around her waist. “Nothing can change that. And as for last night, it only made me love you more.” He paused as he considered how that might be interpreted. “And I would love you even if it never happened again, even if it was done out of jealousy or anger or boredom.” He gulped against the growing lump in his throat and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “But if it wasn’t, if you meant it the way I did…”
I am yours. It was true, probably the truest thing he’d said in his life, and he struggled to get it out, to let her know that she could do nothing wrong in his eyes, that he was prepared to spend the rest of his life with her.. But the words wouldn’t come. They felt too emotional even in light of their conversation, but more than that they felt unnecessary. She knew. She had to.
Narcissa was relieved to see him smiling back at her; it wasn’t that she thought he would be upset, but this talk, this situation was different from any where they’d ever been before and she wasn’t sure about the outcome, but him smiling at her… that put her at ease. She broke eye contact, her gaze falling to the floor, but that smile was still on her lips. She looked up at him, almost confused, when he stopped walking and faced her; following his lead, she halted and turned to look at him, too, her eyes wide and trusting, because she did trust him – more than anyone else. Hearing him say that he loved her had always prompted the same response from her, even before the night before – her heart sped up and there was this fuzzy warm feeling in her head. Before now, she’d never really known how to take it, or what it had meant, but her features turned almost hopeful when he wrapped an arm around her. She nodded, letting him know that she did know that he loved her.
As he continued to talk, everything fell into place for her; there was a subtleness to it, but she thought there was something different behind the word ‘love’. It didn’t sound so much out of their friendship anymore, or at least not completely. She didn’t even have to think to know that she hadn’t done what she did out of jealousy or anger or boredom. She’d done it because it felt right, it felt good and she realized, albeit belatedly, that she had feelings for her best friend. It was such a startling realization; she didn’t know how she could have been so blind. She’d heard the unspoken words as clearly as if he’d really said them and nodded quickly. “It wasn’t any of those reasons,” she said in reference to the three he’d listed. “I did mean it the way you did,” Her hand rose to his cheek. “I couldn’t have meant it any other way, not with you.”

His eyes traced non-existent patterns on the floor as she spoke, the sound of their footsteps preventing any uncomfortable silences. Walking gave him something to do when speaking wasn’t an option, as during the pause it took his brain to decide what to say next. He wanted to tell her how it was all his fault, how he hated himself for shouting at her, for scaring her and hurting her like that, but the words just wouldn’t come. Instead he kept staring at the floor, expression thoughtful, if a little sad.
Of course he knew what she’d been talking about, and even though he needed that conversation as much as she did, something in him had been making him stall. “I know,” he nodded slightly, lifting his eyes to meet hers. “I just— don’t have anything to add. I fear I might have said too much, even.” Not in words, no, that had never been an option with feelings so strong. He’d spoken in little touches, in embraces and kisses; a language that he trusted better where she was concerned.
Funny that he should fall for the one person who rendered him speechless. Yet strangely fitting. Three people on the planet had the ability to shut him up, and he was marrying one of them. Lucky me, huh?
“I’m not even sure what to say about it,” she said honestly. She wasn’t sure how to put into words how much she had enjoyed last night, or what it had meant to her, that she’d never felt anything like that before; how could she possibly put that into words? And what in Merlin’s name did he mean by he had said too much? That was a good starting point: Lucius’ feelings, but how to approach it… Narcissa cracked a small smile as she looked over at him. She wished so badly that she knew what to say in a situation like this, how to properly ask what was going on between them. Did she just come out and ask what last night had meant to him? She sighed again. There were too many thoughts running around in her head and she couldn’t put them in the right order so that they’d make sense.
she's enough for me, she's in love with me | Lucissa
He relaxed a little as Narcissa spoke, a grin replacing his previous confused expression. “Tonight might not be such a waste of time after all, then.” She didn’t seem unhappy with him in any way, or at least not actively so. There was an air of tension to her, but he couldn’t blame her. Tension was a mild word for what had suffocated him all day. Still, it was somewhat better than the long weeks of wondering what the hell was going on with them. Whether he’d grown tired of second-guessing everything or her actions the previous night had put his mind at ease, he couldn’t tell, but the end result was more anticipation than anxiety. They’d reached their boiling point; soon enough everything would spill, he could feel it.
Lucius followed the blonde, walking slowly to match her leisurely pace. At the sound of her sigh he turned to face her, lips parted in an unspoken question that she answered seconds later. He looked away for a moment to gather his thoughts before nodding. ”I guess it’s time we talked it out.” He kept his tone level, expression impassive and open. “I’m sorry for the scene in the hallway,” he began again, speaking clearly despite the desire to mumble. “The last few weeks have been a bit… rough, in some ways, and it all spiralled out of control.” His lips had become a thin line by the time he finished the sentence. Admitting mistakes was difficult and stupid, but it was still a better option than addressing the real issue there.
For a moment, Narcissa had forgotten that they had even had a fight; images of their kissing and other things had been flooding her mind all day, completely clouding that particular part of the night, what had started it all. He was mad and then they were both hurt and she kissed him. Had she started all of this? No. She had initiated the kiss, but it was Lucius’ fire and the intensity that had fueled it. Her eyebrows knitted together and a frown downturned the corners of her lips before she shrugged gently. She was surprised that he was apologizing – she still felt like the whole incident had been her own fault, not his. “You don’t need to apologize for that. You’ve been dealing with a lot and I started a fight over something stupid. If anyone should apologize, it’s me.” She looked over at him, her light blue eyes searching his features.
“That’s not what I was talking about, though, and I think you know that,” she gave him a meaningful look. Hell, she probably had evidence of what last night had entailed on the pale skin of her neck, but she hadn’t looked, so she didn’t know.
"Regulus be careful!"
"I’ll be fine Cissa, don’t worry about me."

Merry [Early] Christmas | Lucissa
It was strange how little had really changed between them in the transition from friends to a couple. Things had become easier for him, what with not having to pretend any longer; the freedom to be as affectionate with her as he wanted was an immense relief finally. But in essence things remained the same, the feeling of familiarity and safety between them strong as before. They still spent most of their days lazing around and talking, or helping each other out with schoolwork, or just reading side by side. As far as he was concerned, his Cissy had only become more fully a part of him.
Grin still in place, he followed her motion and for the first time noticed the arrangement on the table. A holiday dinner with her sounded lovely and he was about to (slightly disappointedly) resign all hopes for a more… physical evening, when she delivered another surprise. If that wasn’t his present, then…
"Wow."
The breath caught in his throat at the sight of entirely new expanses of skin bound in an ensemble that rendered all conscious thought impossible. He had always found her impossibly attractive, with her milky skin, clear light eyes, curling blonde hair, long legs… Everything about her was just the way he liked it, as if created for him. But this… He could feel his mouth going dry, heart speeding up just looking at her. And knowing what all this meant, what their night would be, it drove him crazy.
He lingered for a few moments, taking her all in, eyes slowly roaming up and down her body. And then he was closing the distance between them, his hands coming up to lightly trace the strip of skin between her lingerie and corset. His lips found hers in a stream of kisses that went from quick and tender to deep and hungry in moments. He wrapped his arms around her waist and drew her in, pressing their bodies together until there was no air left between them.
The fact that he lingered just looking at her made her a bit nervous; worries were starting to get to her- maybe this had been a mistake, maybe she looked far more silly than the sexy that she was going for- but she did her best to push those thoughts down for it wasn't a full minute later that he had his hands and lips on her. Narcissa let out a contented sigh when he pulled her close and let her fears and worries go as his kisses erased them.
When his hands had traced over the bare skin at her waist, the young blonde shivered and her eyes had fluttered shut. The ferocity of his kisses excited her and she didn't think twice before she pressed her body more fully to his, her hands running up his arms and coming to rest on his shoulders.
It was quite obvious that he liked his present, or at least the wrapping, so she didn't bother to pull away and ask some cheeky question about whether or not he did. For the briefest of moments, while her brain was still functioning with those kisses flooding it, she wondered if Lucius knew that she'd never given herself to anyone, that he was special. While the kisses continued, her kissing him back just as fiercely, one of her hands dropped back down to his arm and she pushed on him lightly, urging him backwards until the backs of his legs hit the seat of the couch and he sat down. She didn't waste a second before she straddled his lap and brought her hands up to cup his jaw and rest on his neck, deepening the kisses.
She knew that there was a very, very good chance that their food would go cold long before they got to it, even with the heating charm, but it was clear that it didn't matter to either of them. Her hands only hesitated for a moment before she moved them down to unbutton the first couple buttons on the older Slytherin's shirt; Narcissa wasn't sure how to continue and was going off of instinct alone at this point.

Normal. That was the problem. They’d both acted too damn normal after the night they’d had. He didn’t know what he’d been expecting in the morning, but it definitely hadn’t been this. Not after a friendship of so many years had taken such a sudden shift. He’d been prepared (or, well, as prepared as he’d ever be) for everything, ranging from heartfelt conversations to awkward silence, but normality hadn’t been in his plans. Was she having second thoughts despite everything? What was holding her back? He was so bloody tired of this constant back-and-forth, this fear of how she would react to everything, but it seemed hard-wired into him after all these years.
The conversation with Bellatrix hadn’t been much help either. Not that he’d been expecting much comfort from her.
A familiar voice yanked him out of his thoughts and for a moment he could do nothing but stare in startled silence at the young blonde before him. Fortunately then his brain switched on, albeit in a strange direction. “Cissy. It’s— late, you should be in your dorm.” She’s a Prefect, you moron. She has as much right to be out here as you do.
Narcissa's eyebrows raised when Lucius just stood there staring at her; she wondered if she had done something wrong the night before, it was very possible, after all. Lucius, as much as she hated to admit it, had been with other women and was experienced... Narcissa wasn't, not really. She'd shared kisses with James, but it had never gone beyond that and she didn't have any real boyfriends before that, only boys her parents had set her up with. She chewed on her lip until he said something.
It wasn't just about what they had done last night, though. Their physical chemistry had been amazing, but there was obviously something behind both of their kisses and touches and Narcissa wanted to know what it was. Where did their friendship end and something else begin? She smiled and laughed quietly when he said she should in her dorm. "Trying to get rid of me, Lucius? Andromeda asked to switch rounds with me, so it looks like it's you and me tonight," she nodded her head in the direction of the hallway, non-verbally saying that the should get going before she began walking. She cursed herself. She was still acting normal when things were very obviously not normal between them; she sighed. "About last night?"
she's enough for me, she's in love with me | Lucissa
Puzzling.
It was all he could say about the last twenty-four hours. On the one hand, he’d had the best night in ages, if not ever. But then, the morning had felt so.. stiff, both of them resuming the façades he’d been only too happy to lose. Forced normality. Nothing out of the usual. Right.
And to top it all off, he couldn’t even go to sleep and ignore the mess. No, he had Prefect duties to attend to. Wonderful. Just how he hoped he’d spend the night. Merlin knew which daft bimbo they’d paired him off for tonight, too. He’d be lucky if he got through his rounds without resorting to homicide.
Lucius leaned back on the wall next to the entrance to Slytherin, biting back an annoyed puff of air as he waited for his housemate to join him.
Narcissa wasn't sure how she had done it, but through some magical intervention she had managed to act somewhat normal after their exciting, yet very confusing night together. She had enjoyed every bit of it and wouldn't have taken it back no matter what... so why did they act so... normal and oblivious? Part of her thought that maybe Lucius had just been that drunk, but he didn't seem drunk to her.
She wanted to talk to him about it, about everything, but so far she'd only been able to talk to Bella, who had just made her blush and stammer about the whole situation. She was about to give up for the night after looking around for him when one of the other Prefects came up to her and asked her to switch rounds with them, pairing her with Lucius for the night. Of course. She left the Slytherin common room to find Lucius leaning against the wall and felt her heart speed up to a ridiculous pace. She was never this nervous or shy around Lucius, not even when she was little.
"Hello, Lucius."
Bugs | Lucissa
Every second between his question and any reply on her part was a new shard of glass carving its way through his chest; waves of doubts and regret followed by hopeful ones, only to be crushed anew by her silence. He couldn’t imagine what was taking her so long, why that decision had to be so difficult for her. You either wanted someone or not, how wide a margin could there be for doubts? It either felt right or it didn’t… And for him it was impossibly right, in a way that made anything previous feel bitter and unnecessary. He’d never be able to get back to his womanising ways after this.. After her. Every other flavour would pale in comparison.
The kiss Narcissa laid on the corner of his mouth was both soothing and infuriating. It could’ve been a friend’s kiss for all he knew, a polite little apology before she excused herself out of his arms. Combined with the frown and the shake of her head, it drove him to the verge of sanity. In the moments before her answer, he could swear he would go insane.
'But I don't want you to stop.'
The words were his undoing. They were clear in a way that obliterated all his doubts. He’d wanted so badly to let go of them, of all his fears of hurting her, and finally allowed to do so, a crushing weight fell from his chest. He took the first full breath he’d had in hours, eyes closing so he could lose himself in her touch entirely.
But after the gentleness there came the fire, its force renewed with the fall of the last barrier. There was literally nothing that could stop him now, apart from his own better judgement. And on a night like that one, he didn’t put much faith in it. His fingers pressed into the tender skin of her back, nails digging into her shirt. The only thing stopping him from ripping it open was the knowledge who was in his arms and a desire to make a special effort for her. On some level he was dying to break the last wall down and claim her for his own in every sense. But the need to make her feel happy, special, loved, was overpowering. And it wouldn’t let him mess up right now.
Lucius pressed his lips to hers, tender as he could given the forces raging within him. His tongue slid over her bottom lip, followed by a graze of his teeth. Hands roamed up and down her body lazily, never once loosening his grip. He’d be damned if he let her go ever again. He pushed her hair back, fingers lingering on her neck, before his lips found their way there. He trailed kisses and bites along her skin, revelling in every little shudder his touch elicited. Reaching the crook of her neck, he sucked gently on the yielding flesh, not missing a single beat as his free hand undid the topmost button of her shirt. He slid the fabric down her shoulder and took to covering the new expanse of skin in his combination of lips and teeth.
His left hand slipped a few inches from its position in the small of her back, finding her behind and giving it the kind of squeeze he’d always wanted to. His right hand had made its way to her ribcage, stopping just under the swell of her breast. As his hands explored her body, he continued biting down on her shoulder and then erasing the marks in a swirl of his tongue.
This was a side of Lucius that Narcissa had yet to see; the young blonde felt like she had seen every other part of him, but this new passion filled side of him was intoxicating. It was all fire and the way his fingers dug into her skin prompted a small gasp from her lips that was breathed into their kiss. The blonde's legs fell to either side of his hips, straddling him now that his kisses were all tongue and teeth and fire.
Her eyes fell closed and she lost herself. His long fingers left a confusing and infuriating trail of fire and ice blended together that just made her press into his touch and crave it; what was this that had taken her over? Tonight was a night of surprises after all that yelling and tears. It was hard to believe that it was only hours ago that they were at each other's throats because of her irrational jealousy, but now she knew. She knew that she had wanted him all along; she could feel the need for him coursing through her veins at this exact moment.
Chill bumps were left in the wake of Lucius hands and fingers and her eyes came open, those bright crystalline hues trained on his face for a moment when he brushed the hair from her face and a soft, feminine sound left her lips in response to his fingers brushing over her neck, only to be followed by his lips and teeth and tongue. Her slender hand slid up his shoulder, his neck, and found purchase in his hair, holding him to her, encouraging him as he unbuttoned the top button of her shirt and moved to shower that with his intoxicating attention.
The combination of his wandering hands and his mouth giving her those delicious sensations prompted a gasp from her lips.
