Shino Asada, known far and wide as the most accurate shot in the galaxy. She’s a lone wolf, rarely taking any contracts that won’t have a big, lasting impact. And when she does a job, she does it damn well.
And currently, she’s floating in orbit in stealth mode, examining the spoils of her last contract. Several million credits, weapons she scavenged from the corpses of her employers once they paid her, more weapons she’d stolen from the company she’d been sent to raid…
And the thing she’d been sent to steal. The Skeleton Key. A cybernetic chip that can be integrated into a glove or such that allows the holder to open any lock.
Being who she was, she wasn’t going to give it up for anything.
Takane gets into her ship; it’s a quick one. The fastest in the galaxy, also one of only three in existence. It doesn’t have much in the way of bulky armor or weaponry, but it’s good for getting the hell away from pursuers and much, much more maneuverable than anything else out there. If a DelTor 9800X flies past, you know you’re dealing with somebody with plenty of credits.
She’s going to fly to the last known location of the key to start with, perhaps she’ll find a few clues here or there to lead her to where it might be, who might have taken it.
