Could we request a disability pride flag for experiencing cognitive decline? A broad one, for cognitive decline regardless of severity or cause. It's something we've been struggling with quietly, suspecting ours is due to schizophrenia and/or substance abuse, and haven't been acknowledging much beyond every so often making a surface-level mention of it. Learning yesterday that you're experiencing it also was more impactful than we expected it to be, we hadn't realized how alone in it we feel until then.

Just posted it!! It genuinely has meant a lot to figure out that I am not the only one dealing with this. Its been kinda scary, especially since I a worried about my employment after college. I want to go into academia. But I am worried about the realism of that if I keep declining.

We are not alone, and I think thats something we need to remember!!
