i love how when sasuke finally fully articulated what he felt for naruto as a child, it's not his determination or him Never Giving Up that compelled him, it was that...he would act out and cause trouble in a desperate attempt to form connections with people. like sasuke saw something valuable in the most vulnerable and unruly aspect of naruto's behavior and i wish he had told him out loud bc imagine what naruto's reaction would be, that this specific part of him was what drew in the person whose approval he wants the most (that's canon, kakashi's words not mine lol)
