He held a marker in his hand, hesitant to mark anything on the poster. "Do you have a pencil? I want to make an outline first."
"Yeah around her somewhere..." She moved around the posters and finally found the pencil under some papers. She handed it over going back to her poster.
I never got to go to prom, and that really bummed me out when I was younger... still kinda does... but anyway, any idea where I threw my jeans?
I will admit, prom was a lot of fun. Very awkward but a lot of fun. *Natalie looks around* I think I see them under the window over there.
“I don’t think so. That seems more like a psychic prediction, if anything.” The more Natalie spoke, the more Blaine’s shock grew. “And you haven’t mentioned this to me once in the eight months I’ve been living in your house?”
"I'm sorry it wasn't intentional. We've been having these monthly calls since I moved here. They have just become second nature."
Blaine didn’t understand the appeal of being a goalie, but maybe that wasn’t for him to understand. He took a seat on the living room floor, legs crossed. “Yeah, I’m free. What time does it start?”
She started passing markers and poster board toward him. "It's at 10 at the soccer fields at Evergreen Park."
More like... just, my entire twenties? I dunno. You know I never went to real high school.
You're not missing much. It kinda blows.
You’re telling me. Every time I think I can drink, my mood stabilizers whack me in the head with the dizzy stick. Why do I keep doing this?
Because we still think we are back in high school and not in our 30's.
Blaine was trying to steal chips from Natalie’s pantry, but heard her voice before he could reach the kitchen. “What am I doing now?” he asked, surprised to be getting roped into whatever this was.
"Poster making. Liv is getting a chance of being starting goalie for her soccer game this weekend. She's really excited about it so I wanted to make her posters to cheer her on." She finished sketching out her jersey number on the posterboard. "Oh speaking of are you free this weekend? I invited Carina and Gabby and also Morgan to come cheer her on."
Blaine tried to keep his expression neutral, but he failed miserably. “I think it’ll be fine.” And if it wasn’t, he was going to beat his uncle’s ass. What she said next left him genuinely surprised. “Kathryn’s in town? Damn, she hasn’t been back here in like six or seven years.”
"Is it crazy that I'm hoping that the siblings being together again after a while causes enough drama that overshadows anything else?" Natalie nods. "Yeah we call each other once a month and catch up. She thinks this is the one and wants everyone to meet him. Honestly with the way she was talking, I wouldn't be surprised if they got hitched."
Natalie sat on the floor in the middle of a collection of poster boards and paints in blue, white and black. She looked up when Blaine entered the room and smiled. "Hey you're just in time to help me."

*Groaning Natalie rolled over and faced Morgan* Ugh my head. I used to be so much better at holding my liquor.

👀 (Natalie + Archer)
👀 for my muse to compliment yours
Archer is funny, supportive and super easy to be around. I know that I can call him anytime and he will be there.

👂 (Nat + Blaine)
Natalie walked into the house putting grocery bags down as she squeezed the phone between her ear and shoulder. "I don't know how long he's staying with us. It's not like I gave him a time limit or anything." She rolled her eyes as she mother kept up her pestering. "I know it's another mouth to feed but it's not like he's a child. He has a job and does contribute." Natalie started to take food out of the grocery bags. "Like I said he's welcome as long as he wants to stay. We love having him around and its been good for Liv to meet more of her family." Natalie let out a sarcastic laugh. "Well who's fault is it that I'm here instead of back home? I have to go, I need to pick up Liv from soccer... yeah talk to you later. ... love you too." Natalie hung up and slid her phone in her pocket, putting the rest of her groceries away.
