So I'm a forever DM, and I've had many funny experiences with nat 1s and 20s, but the best one is prolly this:

Was in front of a door. The door was a completely normal and all they needed to do was open it.

Barbarian murder hobo: "can I swing my axe and hit it?"

Me: "i- why? It's a NORMAL DOOR??"

Bard: "I roll to seductively open it"

Me: big sigh "what are you even trying to seduce?"

Bard: "in case it's a mimick" rolls dice "haha natural 20!!"

Me, who literally put the door there just to separate rooms and puzzles: face palm "the door opens, it's a normal door. Next puzzle-"

So yeah, doors still remain the hardest puzzle in DND, even 100% normal doors.

Requirements: discord account, a decent mic, an ability to commit to bi-weekly sessions. Also preferably a camera, but that's not a requirement. And don't worry, you can be a complete beginner with no knowledge of DND to play, I'm 100% beginner friendly.

As you sit on your own doorstep, contemplating your life choices, you notice a flock of birds is leaving the castle of the Sanders kingdom(which is where you live), and one drops a letter right on your face. After you curse the bird and all it's generations individually, you open the golden envelope, which contains a letter from the prince, Roman Sanders.

"Hello resident of the kingdom! Our king, Thomas, has disappeared. We are making a search group and we're requesting your help! Meet Logan, my helper, in the Side tavern at 20:00 (8pm) tomorrow if you're interested in helping.

Regards, Roman."

Oh fuck shit damnit, what the hell happened to the king? He's supposed to be alright, he has a whole army to protect him! Oh well, you're bored out of your mind, you might just check out that search group.

I’ve been WAITING for this opportunity!! One time my D&D character (@chaotic-amalgamationz) was given a soda can. They didn’t know what to do about it. So they decide to swallow the can in its entirety. (Rolled a 20 in survival) 🤣
