Though it probably wasn’t a good idea to have some drinks and decide to go to the beach and get involved with a conversation, for he interrupted the other and asked if they would join him to skinny dip. Gabor is a Pan-sexual, a person who will acknowledge someone’s attractiveness no matter what was going on in their pants. If you are physically attractive inside and out, you’re more than likely Gabe’s type. No, it wasn’t for anything sexual but skinny dipping alone...is weird and he may be tipsy but he wasn’t that far gone to be that strange. Not yet.

“Okay, okay.” His arms was folded against his chest but started talking with one of his hands. “So, is that a no on joining me to skinny dip?”

“Do I have to repeat it?” She had been sitting peacefully on her own in the sand, letting the sun dry her off from the swim she had just had when he came around. She accepted that she wouldn’t really ever get much time on her own but it was always a little bit of a let down when that was interrupted. Taking a sip from her flask she glanced around them before looking back up at him. “There’s probably some royal around here that is just waiting for some fantasy with one of us to come to life. Try your chances with one of them.”

jules hated being new to the island, it was as if everyone knew she was and the entire island seemed to change so she was more lost than she was before she even took another step. the young princess sighed, and decided to stop and sit in the sand. it was warm against her skin, and she glanced up only when a shadow cast over her, “i hope i’m not taking your spot,” softly said she, “i’m afraid i’m lost, and decided i couldn’t worsen my situation by sitting.”

“You can’t really get lost.” Natalia commented, shrugging her shoulders as she looked away from her. “If you keep walking long enough, you’ll find your way.” There wasn’t much to get lost in, eventually she’d find where more people were because of the size of the island. She supposed sending her the right way would’ve been the nice thing to do but Natalia didn’t jump to it, instead walking closer to the water.

“If I got to that place with someone and they were ripped away from me? I don’t think I’d handle it well. If you think it’s tough to get through to me now, I imagine I’d be worse then. If it happened by natural causes I’d have no choice but to just turn it inwards, probably become more destructive. If it was by the hands of someone, then I’d probably cope by putting all my energy in making sure that person was dead too.”

“Quiet one, I guess and I hate being the center of attention. Even in conversation with one other person, I’ll redirect any attention put on me so yeah I prefer watching and listening to others, well, to some extent. The only way that doesn’t happen and I become loud, is usually because I’ve been pushed beyond my limit and I snap but it’s a rare sighting.”

“It was complicated for many years but it wasn’t necessarily bad. I still loved him. I just don’t think being a parent was a priority for either of mine, which I did hold onto as a kid until I learned that resentment only really hurt me in the end. When I was a little older and saw him more, that’s when it became good. I couldn’t say he was the best dad in the world but he tried and I miss him.”

“I don’t have much thought about it personally, I don’t think I’d be broken up about it ‘cause I mean, that says more about the type of person you are. They’ll know they shouldn’t be wasting their time with someone so easily distracted.”

When Natalia actually answered him, he couldn’t help but feel surprised. She always had a way of side stepping his questions and he figured this time would be no different. Now whether she was telling him the actual truth remained to be seen. “Is this friend of yours Wiccan or something? Sounds like a bizarre tradition to me. Does she also believe in human sacrifices?” He quipped before turning to see the shit eating grin on her features. “Such a player, Lia” he rolled his eyes at her, shifting to a more comfortable position on the rock. He should have known it was a ruse from the get go. “Does truth ever fall from your lips?” He queried with an exasperated expression. Her next questions didn’t make him feel anymore at ease, though he wouldn’t step foot into her trouble. “Does anyone really know if their friends are true friends, no matter their station? Friendship is based on trust. When that trust is lost, what do you have then?” Lia didn’t strike him as someone who had a lot of friends. If her question was met to cause uncertainty in his life, she’d have to try much harder than that. Luka was very confident in his friendships, some of which stemmed back to childhood.

“You set yourself up for that.” She shrugged. Did he really? No. The truth would’ve meant telling him the tradition tied to the family she no longer had but that was too much information for her to give to Luka. Well, anyone honestly, but Luka specifically. Maybe one day when they could hold a conversation that didn’t make either of them roll their eyes. “Well, I didn’t actually lie to you.” She told a story that wasn’t true, yes, but made it obvious that it wasn’t. Although she knew that wasn’t what he meant by the comment. “My truth doesn’t actually matter to you anyway.” That would require for him to truly care about her and that, she could confidently say he didn’t. Turning her body a bit so she could look over at him better after having answered her she stared at him a few seconds in silence. She couldn’t argue with his answer, which she wasn’t sure if she found frustrating or impressive, no matter how simple the concept was. “Who do you trust with your life then? That’s here.”

Mateo half expected the pirate not to follow through. But it didn’t matter either way because now he didn’t need to walk down the cliff back to his room. However, he saw the backpack fly through the air and land just a few paces from him and the water. After the flask came the pirate and Mateo waited ever so patiently for his reward. He nodded his head at the notion. “That’s a truth among all people.” Swimming close to the backpack and the woman, Mateo smirked. “I also now expect a new shirt and shoes after this jump. I only have that pair and I can’t walk back up to get them. I can, however, enjoy a nice swig from that flask. A deal is a deal after all.”

"You can walk back up.” It wouldn’t be an easy task but it wasn’t impossible, not that she was saying he was going to have to just stating the obvious. “Fine.” She agreed. She had given her word when she told him that, so she wasn’t going to come around and deny him the drink. Once they got back to land, she carried the backpack a couple feet, plopping down onto the sand where the water no longer met it. “I’ll get you the shirt and the shoes.” She told him as she opened the bag up to grab the flask, holding it out to him. “Name?”

Lucky for her, she wasn’t tired. She is accustomed to hiking, and physical exercises in her way back home. How this place looks like then? ❜ Since the other wouldn’t be a warning to where they were heading, a description would be acceptable, her mind could pay everything that she would describe. ❛ Are you ALWAYS hiking? ❜ She cleans up her forehead from the sweat, her cheeks were crimson due to her body temperature, she was hot and dripping sweat. Alex’s clothes aren’t exactly appropriated to the activity they were doing at the moment.

“You say that as if I’m dying to know what your answer was to begin with.” Natalia commented blandly. She didn’t, therefore, it was easy for Natalia to let the whole thing go altogether. Now she just wondered if the princess would let the question go or not but she didn’t wait to find out either. “I became a pirate because Captain Jack Sparrow was my hero.” She lied, in a tone that made it obvious enough that she wasn’t taking it serious in the slightest. The real answer touched subjects she preferred to avoid, that not even the people she spent time around fully knew. That was how Natalia liked. She didn’t want to be a mystery for the allure, that was overrated. She simply didn’t like to share and why should she with a royal? If they weren’t hostages, they wouldn’t care to even learn her name. Maybe she was clumping them together a little too much, but it didn’t mean she wasn’t open to having her mind changed over the assumption. “Green. Rocky.” Crap description, she knew, but what did she really expect? “If I’m not working or training, then yes.” Glancing at Alex, Natalia reached behind her pulling the water bottle out of the side of her backpack. “Do you enjoy just laying on the beach, doing nothing?” Holding out the water bottle for her to take.
