the two of you have many movie nights, it’s just something that’s normal in the relationship. you get to ramble on about fun facts to michael as he listens to you, while watching the movie. truly, he looks forward to your fun facts because he gets to hear you talk, and the way you sound makes his heart weak.

going from movie premieres, michael also likes taking you to the local movie theater that plays old horror movies. the two of you go over there so much that the workers know you, it’s not embarrassing because you’ve all become a friend group in a way, and he’s happy he has genuine friends who like the same things as you and him.

there it is. small. vulnerable. barely above a whisper.

your heart melts. again.

“were you jealous?” you tease gently, stepping closer.
