"YOU'RE COMING" — JERMAJESTY JACKSON
— ᨳଓ : Jermajesty Jackson x Female!BestfriendReader
— Summary:
— Themes: Tooth rotting fluff, best friends, teasing
"Which color? Grey or Black..?" Maj's soft but yet deep voice spoke, breaking the calm silence. "Remind me, why I'm sitting here?" You asked. You knew exactly why you were here, you just liked teasing poor Maj. "My dad won't get off my back about me dressing right to his event and who else would I get to help other than the fashionista herself." A small smile began to stretch across your face. "Well I guess." "no no don't do that." Maj smiled settling the ties on the coffee table, before joining you on the coach.
"Do what?" "Get shy. You know how highly I think of you." His voice sending chills down your spine. "Hush!" You quickly covered his mouth. Suddenly you felt saliva cover your hand. "MAJ!" You shrieked as you snatched your hand away. "Sorry sorry." Jermajesty giggled, his gap now becoming visible. "Stop being gross now do you want my help or not?"
"Of course I do cutie." "Well then stop acting like we're 12 again." You said as your short legs moved off from the couch towards his bedroom "Now where are we going?" Maj quickly followed. "Your mess of a closet. I swear I organized this shit a week ago." The closet truly was a mess but no matter what you cleaned it up for him. "Anyways that's besides the point. We're ditching the tie-" Your sentence being cutoff his voice. "You know what. How about we match?" "What do you mean we match? I'm not going" Confusion soaking your words. "Now you are. Be my plus one. Whatever you wear I'll find a way to match" Maj said as he stepped closer and embraced you. Somehow his long big arms found a way around your short stature.
And of course later that night you found yourself wrapped around Jermajesty at Jemaine's party.

Tuesday, February 3rd, 1976. 9:56 am. The Hallways.
The loud school bell rang in your eardrums as you made your way through the halls, pushing through the crowd to make it to your locker. You held your books against your chest to save space in the halls, but occasionally a stranger would brush your shoulder. You hated passing period. It was so loud and so stressful, but at the same time, it was such a good time to chat with Janet.
You had known Janet since middle school; more specifically, since your old friend group broke up, and Janet was the kind girl in your elective class.
You two always got along, and it seemed like you were destined to be friends. She was a grade below you but still so mature. She was always very popular and had a good reputation around the campus, and over time you were known for always being by her side.
Janet was already at your locker by the time that you got there. A contagious smile spread across her face that immediately brightened your mood.
"Janet!!" You greeted, wrapping your arms around her tightly. Your smile stretched across your cheeks, an antidote to the boredom that haunted you through your morning classes.
"Heyy!! How ya been, huh??" Janet greeted back. You two always stopped to talk during passing periods about the previous class, the weekend, or plans.
"My last class was hell, are you kidding?? So boring as always." You complained. "How about your class?? Any new news on Laura and Daniel??" The two were a hot topic on campus at the moment, and you and Janet just so happened to be the biggest gossips this world has ever seen.
"Oh my goodness!! Yes!!" Janet exclaimed. "So I overheard-" she paused. Reconsidering sharing such drama in a public space.
"Why'd you stop?? Come on, whisper it to me!!" You begged. Janet scoffed before leaning in to whisper.
"The baby isn't Daniel's!!" Janet whispered into your ear, cupping her hand by her mouth.
Your jaw dropped at the news.
"Really?! Tell me everything!!" You squealed excitedly. Hopping off your heels, barely able to contain yourself.
Janet giggled at your reaction to the dirty gossip. "Keep your voice down, silly!!" She lightly smacked your shoulder. The highly irritating bell rang off the walls, signaling the students to hurry to their next class. "Let's just go to mine after school; I'll catch you up!"
"Really?? I haven't been over yet. Are your parents okay with me being over??" You anxiously questioned. You always were taught guest etiquette and would one hundred percent be worried about being a disturbance, but Janet just looked past it so simply.
"Oh, my mother doesn't mind, and my father doesn't get home until late. You'd be fine!!" Janet stroked your shoulder gently to reassure you.
But then you remembered one more thing.
"Wait, Jan. Don't you have siblings?"
"Huh? Of course I do, silly!! You've met Marlon!! Randy too!!" Janet laughed at your worrying. "They wouldn't mind either!!"
It was true, Janet did introduce you to Marlon, who was a grade above you. He was kind and funny, and you didn't have a single problem with him; sometimes he would even hang out around you and Janet at lunchtime.
And Randy, you were also familiar with him. Janet and Randy were constantly bickering, and she would always complain about him to you. Randy was also in the grade below you. You would think that he would be annoying from the fuss Janet makes about him, but when you met him, he was really just a chill guy.
But then, of course, there was another sibling.
The sibling Janet hadn't introduced you to yet.
Michael.
Michael was in the same grade as you, so you were used to having him in most of your classes, but you never talked to him.
Janet occasionally brought him up in conversation; she mentioned him as her kind older brother. Michael was also well known around campus. He always had a group of girls swarming him or spying on him. he was quite the charmer.
You would be lying if you said that he wasn't handsome; you would also be lying if you said you weren't attracted to him.
That was the real reason you were so worried about Janet's siblings.
"Oh!! That's right!! I haven't properly introduced you to Michael yet!!" Janet yelped in realization. "Oh, well.. You two are in the same grade, so you've gotten to know him, right??" She tipped her head.
"Well, I know of him. We don't talk much, though." You felt your face start to heat up a bit at the thought of him. "We have chemistry together, though."
Janet raised a brow and smirked.
"Oh, not that kind of chemistry, Janet! Stop it!" You laughed at her teasing. "But seriously, we don't talk."
"Oh, well. It makes sense; he can be shy sometimes!! But he's so sweet you don't have to worry about him!!" Janet reassured. However, you were still feeling a bit weird. If you were going to Janet's home, you were also going to Michael's home. And just about any girl in the school would die just to say that they've been over to Michael's house.
You took a deep breath and sighed, considering everything.
How bad could it be?
"You know what? I'm overthinking it; let's hang out at yours after school." You gave in.
"Perfect!!" Janet squealed. The bell rang off the crowded hallways' walls, signaling for students to start rushing to class, and that was exactly what you were gonna do.
"I'm gonna be late, Jan!" You quickly reached into your locker and hastily grabbed your things. "Meet out front the school after school??"
"Sounds good, I'll see you around!!" She patted your back before turning on her heel and leaving to get to her next class, fashionably late as always.
Tuesday, February 3rd, 1976. 11:02 am. Mr. Roberts' Fourth Period Chemistry Class.
Your fingers drummed against the cold table beneath your elbow. Your safety goggles slid down your nose slowly, pinching your nostrils before you pushed the goggles back up. This. Class. Was. Boring.
At least for you, it was.
Chemistry was never your thing. It had a lot to do with math, which you hated. And a lot to do with science, which you also hated. Chemistry was just the two hardest subjects merged into one, and you couldn't enjoy it. Your partner, on the other hand, was the opposite of you.
"Yo! Dude! Look at this! Isn't this cool??" Your partner waved a bubbling fluid held in a beaker in front of your face. "I can't believe it worked!!"
"Back up, Mona!!" You carefully held the beaker and examined it. "That is pretty cool…" Carefully returning the beaker to your friend, she wore a huge smile.
"Here, do you want to copy down my notes?" Mona offered thoughtfully. She handed you a notebook full of calculations, all neatly written and satisfyingly highlighted. Highlighted with your shared fancy highlighters.
You released a sigh of relief and began to copy down the complicated studies from the 'partner project'.
"What would I do without you??" You smiled at Mona.
"Hmmm.. Probably spend the whole class period ogling Michael." Mona teased with a cruel smile. The joke didn't last long before you swatted at her, hushing her.
"Shush!! He might hear you!!" You whisper-yelled in a panic. Michael was two tables ahead in the row next to you. Thankfully, he didn't hear what Mona said, you were still trying to go to Janet's later.
Tuesday, February 3rd, 1976. 4:33 pm. The Jackson Household.
You went over to Janet's home; it wasn't a bad home. Her family was very musically involved and often did gigs, so her family made a comfortable amount of money. You could hear her brothers practicing in the garage, they sounded so professional, you bet that they could be famous.
And of course, the angel-voiced boy of a lead singer was none other than Michael.
You and Janet were in the kitchen, each holding cans of soda and gossiping.
"I can't believe this!! She makes me so angry!!" You shouted, frustrated as if you were personally involved in the drama. You took a swig of the sugary drink.
"I know, right!! What did she think was gonna happen??" Janet responded in an instant, taking another sip from her can.
"Exactly. You can't sleep with three guys a week and not expect to get pregnant!!"
"I wonder how Daniel feels though, because Scott and him used to be close friends before all this mess…"
"Oouff.. you're right.. that must really suck.."
"Can I say something mean??"
"Always."
"Laura's not pretty enough to be jumping between guys like that."
"YES!! THAT. THAT."
"Her eyes are really far apart."
"So are her legs."
You and Janet burst out laughing, grabbing onto each other and wheezing till your bodies were weak. Until you were snapped out of the happy moment by the rush of liquid across your blouse, for Janet had accidentally poured her soda onto you.
"Shit!! I'm so sorry!! I'll run up to my room and get you something to wear. Stay here ill be right back!!" Janet exclaimed. She rushed out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Leaving you standing in the kitchen with your white shirt completely see-through. Not to mention cold from the refrigerated beverage.
You awkwardly stood leaning against the counter. Waiting for Janet to return with a new shirt. Come to think of it, it was actually a bit quieter in the house all of a sudden. There was an absence.
The absence of music.
Not too far away, you heard the footsteps of chunky platform shoes against the wooden floors.
Fuck.
You rushed to cover yourself with something quick. You didn't want anyone to see you like this! Your shirt clung to your body and perfectly exposed your bra; it was too embarrassing to even think of one of Janet's siblings seeing you like this.
The more you panicked, the harder it was to find something to cover with. You scrambled to find a towel or something, but it was too late.
Michael stepped into the kitchen, and the two of you immediately froze up. The silence was humiliating.
Of all the siblings it could've been, it had to be Michael.
Michael's eyes traveled lower, his eyes shamelessly traveling over your exposed body in silence. You could almost feel the steam coming off of your head from how embarrassed you were. No, not embarrassed, humiliated.
The sight in front of him was downright lewd, something that would be on the cover of Playboy, for God's sake. And he was just standing there staring?? It was the worst moment of your life by far.
Congratulations, you. You've made a fool of yourself in front of the cutest boy in school.
You quickly regained your consciousness and turned the other way, covering yourself. How was Janet not back with the shirt by now??
"D-don't look!!" you yelped, turning back at him with overwhelmed eyes. You quickly grabbed a rag and covered yourself. How useful that rag would've been about 40 seconds ago?
Michael seemed to snap out of it too.
"Oh, I'm so.. so sorry.." Michael fumbled over his words. He rushed over in your direction when he saw the mess, but when he looked around, there was nothing to clean with. Nothing except for the rag you were using to cover yourself at the moment.
Michael looked up at you for a second before looking away, he bit his lip for a second to consider.
"Could- could I get that rag..?" He quietly asked. Reaching up to you. You hesitated and pulled away. "C'mon, I won't look no more, I just gotta clean this up real quick.."
His voice was so gentle and kind, like he was a siren. And of course you listened to him. You slowly handed him the towel, and he blushed and turned his head away. You awkwardly stood there and waited for him to finish.
A few awkward seconds later, Janet rushed into the kitchen and saw the scene in front of her. She laughed at first, then ran over to you and handed you the shirt.
"Here ya go, I hope you like Superman!" Janet smirked as she handed you the shirt. When you unfolded it, it was a blue shirt with the Superman symbol on it.
Thanks a lot, Janet. First, Michael sees you with a completely transparent shirt; second, now he gets to see you in a geeky tee for little boys.
You had no choice but to wear it. You removed your wet shirt and had to stand in the kitchen shirtless for a few seconds, quickly sliding the new, dry shirt on in replacement. You could swear you saw Michael's eyes peeking up at you when you were changing. The shirt was quite tight and hugged onto you fairly well. Didn't really help the situation.
"Huh! It actually looks good on you!" Janet complimented. "Y'know, that's actually Michael's old shirt!" Janet added.
…
You froze up.
You didn't think it was possible to be that humiliated in such a short amount of time.
Michael rose up from the now cleaned floor and looked you up and down, you tried to pull yourself together for the moment. You tried to avoid eye contact, but his charm made it damn hard. Your eyes flicked up to him a couple times, and he never broke his stare. His Beautiful brown eyes clung to you like he was drinking you in. No, as if he was in the hottest desert and you were a tall, cold glass of water.
"What do you think, Mike?" Janet looked up to her older brother, her arms crossed as if she was a designer and you were her model. "Do you think we should let her keep it? Looks cute on her.."
Michael paused for a second.
"It is cute on her.." He shyly stated. "She can keep it.." His eyes returned to yours. This time, you were less embarrassed about blushing, since he was blushing too. You momentarily ignored Janet, who was most likely giving you a teasing look.
Michael broke eye contact first, he looked over at Janet and let out a little laugh.
"Oh, stop it, Jan!" he laughed. Janet laughed with him. She was teasing him. Right in front of you. And he was laughing and blushing? You were too stunned to speak.
A voice rang out from the garage down the hall.
"Michael!! Breaks over, man!!"
"That's Jackie, we have to get back to practicing.." Michael explained. he looked right at you and nodded. "I'll see you around.." Then he ran back down the hall and disappeared from your view. Just like that.
A second passed before you looked back at Janet.
"So," Janet smirked. You prepared yourself. "What was that?" She teased.
"Oh, Janet!!" You whined. "Stop it! It was nothing like that! It was quite embarrassing, actually.." You looked back down the hall to check if Michael was still listening. All Clear.
"Oh, come on!! You guys were totally having a moment!!" Janet pushed. "And he was giving you eyes. Come on." She tilted her head and leaned onto the kitchen counter.
"It's whatever!! Anyways, where were we??" You quickly changed the subject. Janet's face lit up, and she immediately got back into her gossip mood.
"Oh!! Right!! So anyway . . . "
Tuesday, February 3rd, 1976. 9:47 pm. Your Home.
You were rolling around on your bed, you couldn't stop thinking about everything that happened with Michael earlier. You just got finished writing in your diary about it. You couldn't get his pretty brown eyes out of your head; that boy was something else.
Being at his house was already enough, but his seeing you like that? Talking? His ogling? His compliment? The moment? Many, many girls would kill—or worse—to experience that, and you did. You felt like Charlie when he got the golden ticket and was immediately swarmed by people trying to get it. You were so insanely lucky, you could still hardly believe it.
You had it bad.
And then you thought of what Janet said.
"Oh, come on!! You guys were totally having a moment!!" "And he was giving you eyes. Come on."
Janet knew Michael better than anyone else. Maybe she was right. Could you actually have a chance with Michael? She didn't seem too upset about it. She might actually be trying to get you and Michael together.
No, don't be silly.
You rolled to the other side of the bed and thought more realistically. Michael always had girls swarming him, confessing to him, swooning over him. You were just one of them, not anybody special. Plus, he could get anyone; why would it be you? You were sure he could get anyone better. Unless.. you could ask Janet for help?
Wait, what are you thinking??
That was your best friend's older brother!! That would be so wrong of you!! No matter if she was okay with it or not!! You couldn't tell Janet no matter what!! This had to be a secret. A secret until you could get rid of this strange feeling towards Michael.
And you were determined.
Determined to get rid of your crush on Michael.
Tuesday, February 3rd, 1976. 4:33 pm. The Jackson Household.
Michael's Point of View.
"Alright, everybody lets take five!!" Jackie yelled out. Jermaine let out a sigh of relief somewhere behind Michael. Everyone set down their instruments and took a seat. Michael groaned.
"I'm going to go get a glass of water." Michael moaned. Marlon shot up somewhere near him, patting his forehead with a towel.
"Hey Mike, could ya get me one too, man?" Marlon asked, out of breath.
"Sure, Marlon," Michael called out as the garage door slammed behind him. Michael made his way down the hall on the way to the kitchen. As he approached, he heard some bustling inside. He turned the corner, not knowing what to expect.
But what he found certainly not disappointing.
What he saw was a girl in his kitchen, her shirt comepletely see through, showing her lacy black bra on full display; the wet cloth clung to her curves.
And the best part?
It was Janet's cute friend.
He couldn't help but stare, looking all over. It was just such a sight. Something that seemed right out of his Playboy collection.
"D-don't look!!" She yelped, snapping around and covering herself with a nearby rag. 'Why is she wet anyway?' Michael thought. Michael looked around and saw the mess once he was done staring. Cola all over the floors. It's one thing to have an unexpected guest, but an unexpected mess too?? He let it slide, only because he liked the view the guest had to offer.
"Oh, I'm so.. so sorry.." Michael fumbled over his words. He rushed over to her to clean the mess, but there was nothing to clean with. He looked around and found that the only available rag at the moment was the one she was using to cover herself.
Michael looked off into the distance, preparing himself to ask what he needed to ask.
"Could- could I get that rag..?" He quietly asked. Reaching out for the rag.
She pulled away.
"C'mon, I won't look no more, I just gotta clean this up real quick…" Michael persuaded, waving his hand for the rag.
And she handed him the rag slowly. He averted his eyes, keeping his word.
Janet rushed into the scene out of nowhere. She laughed at first, then ran over to her friend and handed her a blue cloth.
"Here ya go, I hope you like Superman!" Janet joyfully spoke to her friend. It was Michael's old shirt.
The girl removed her wet shirt and was left shirtless for a moment, replacing it with Michael's shirt. It was a blue shirt with the Superman symbol on it. The shirt was quite tight and hugged onto her fairly well. He couldn't seem to break his stare.
Nor could he stop the intense beating of his heart.
"Huh! It actually looks good on you!" Janet complimented her. "Y'know, that's actually Michael's old shirt!" Janet added, gesturing to him.
…
He was under a spell.
Michael rose from the floor and wandered closer to the beautiful girl before him. He looked her up and down while she could barely maintain eye contact. Her eyes were gorgeous, he just wished she would show them to him. He came into the kitchen parched, and thank god he found his tall, cold glass of water right before him.
"What do you think, Mike?" Janet looked up to Michael, her arms crossed. "Do you think we should let her keep it? Looks cute on her.."
Michael paused. Admiring the lady before him.
"It is cute on her.." He shyly stated. "She can keep it.." His eyes came back to hers. He felt himself start to blush. He felt Janet's eyes poking into him and had to turn away. He looked over at his little sister and let out a laugh.
"Oh, stop it, Jan!" he laughed. Janet laughed with him. Michael had previously talked to Janet about his interest in this girl, and now she was ruining the moment by teasing him.
Jackie's voice came from the garage down the hall.
"Michael!! Breaks over, man!!"
"That's Jackie, we have to get back to practicing.." Michael explained to the two. He looked right at the girl and decided to shoot his shot. "I'll see you around.." He nodded at her and then turned to return to his practice. Mentally, he congratulated himself.
He continued down the hall before stopping behind a corner to eavesdrop.
He heard Janet's voice.
"So, What was that?"
Then he heard her voice.
"Oh, Janet!! Stop it! It was nothing like that! It was quite embarrassing, actually.."
Michael chuckled to himself.
"Oh, come on!! You guys were totally having a moment!! And he was giving you eyes. Come on."
'Thanks, Jan.' He thought to himself.
"It's whatever!! Anyways, where were we??"
Michael gave up on his eavesdropping and returned to the garage with a big smile on his face as he swung the door open.
"Hey Mike? Where's the water?" Marlon asked.
Damn.

Michael's day didn't even get a chance to start before it had been ruined. Michael laid in his humble abode Hayvenhurst, located in Encino. Although the clock had just striked 7 am, Hayvenhurst bursted with energy and life. It had even reached the top Hayvenhurst where Michael's room resided. Suddenly the wooden door swung open, revealing a surprisingly happy Jermaine. "Get your butt up, Michael! Stop sallowing your own drool." His happy voice spoke. Michael's eyebrows immediately furrowed. "Why are you so happy..?" Michael's soft sleepy voice managing to reach across the room where Jermaine stood.
"Isn't your best friend coming over?" It had totally slipped his mind. You coming over wasn't anything new but coming over while everyone was there was. "But why would you be excited MY best friend is coming over?" Genuine confusion on his face. "I wanna see that doll."
10 am: At this point Michael had finally gotten ready for the day. A long sleeve Ralph Lauren polo with yellow and black stripes covered his body along with black trousers and his iconic black loafers. It had become a waiting game in the Jackson house. All the brothers laid in the living room, just itching to see you. Although Michael still was confused on why his brothers were thrilled until Marlon spoke "Can't wait to see her beautiful self walk through the door." His head immediately snapped. "Huh?" Just as those words left his mouth. The doorbell rang. All the brothers began fixing their clothes. "You guys" Michael's eyes flickering between his brothers "stop". The door rang again. "Coming!" His soft loafers clacking against the floor.
"Hi Mikey" Your soft voice let out once Michael had opened the door. Michael's cheeks immediately warmed up. "Hi" A small smile covering his face, dimples peeking out. "So are you going to let me in?" You giggled. "Oh my of course!" Standing aside to let you in. Soon after he followed. "Hey pretty thing" Jackie let out "Well hi" You spoke softly before walking straight past him. "Ouch" the brothers teased. Michael couldn't help but feel satisfied. "Hey wait for me" Michael rushed following you to his room. "Oh how I've missed your room. Your bed most importantly" Dropping your bag and slipping off your shoes, you climbed into his bed. "Gosh right at home ain't ya?" "You wouldn't have it any other way." You teased. "I'm mad you're right." "I always am Mikey" The rest of the after noon was spent playing around and gossiping. Michael had always enjoyed his time with you. "Hey" He spoke as the two of you laid on the floor after a game of twister, his favorite. "Yep?" you turned to lay on your stomach. "Do you like one of my brother's..?" He questioned, something he had on his mind all day. "No Mikey" You let out a soft laugh 'Why would you ever think that" "Mhm don't know." You later scoffed "Well it's dumb because I don't" You smiled grabbing his hand. "Let's play another game of twister.'
