Lights on the Lagoon, a little experiement with oils.
Happy Year of the Horse! 🔥 We need more of this energy in 2026
"Lightbearer".
When my son was a baby we would go on a daily walk in the woods. Every morning, Lando (the neighbourhood cat who adopted us) would wait outside the house to join us. It became our little tradition. Those moments felt so special, I decided to turn them into a painting.
I'll be keeping this original with me (some paintings are meant to stay with you, this is one of them), and gift it to my son when he's older. But! Hand embellished prints are available :)
21x29cm Watercolour, gouache, PS.
Blessed Imbolc friends! 🕯️🌿

Kelpie, watercolour on hot pressed paper. Now on Every Day Original The lochs are dark and gloomy this time of year, silent mirrors of steel. Behind the scenes on Patreon.
Something is emerging from the waters (and coming to Every Day Original on Friday 9th✨)
The World 🌞 Tarot of the Witch's Garden. The card of accomplishment, fulfilment, wholeness, belonging.
Watercolour on hot pressed cotton paper. 🌿 Original available.
Ossian's Crossing, September page of the 2026 Calendar.
This watercolour depicts the poet's last journey.
People often ask me if the place I painted actually exists: it does! It's the Hermitage Bridge over the River Bran, in Dunkeld, Scotland - built in 1770 by the 3rd Duke of Atholl.
..these days feel a little bit like this ✨
The Hermit, Tarot of the Witch's Garden November page of the 2026 Calendar (fewer than 50 copies left, signed & numbered).
I recently asked the cards for advice regarding some aspect of my creative path I was struggling with (the usual art crisis every artist has at least a few times a month, I'm sure some of you can relate), and they spoke through this card. "Let go of the distractions, focus on what truly matters. Look inward".
My colours (and wishes) for 2026.
Numbness White (or was it Cloud Dancer?), Tradwife Beige and so on, are not something I wish to invite in the coming year.
Part of me wonders if the choice was a political/cultural commentary of where we are now as a society, rather than an utterly tone-deaf pick (am I being too optimistic? Probably.). In any case, I’m glad it’s at least encouraging some discussions.
Historically, bold colours have been used as aesthetic tools of resistance to imperialism and reclamation of identity. To me, the idea of basking in the “calming serenity” of Cloud Dancer right now feels like… disassociation.
May 2026 bring us the strength to defy, the unswerving resolve of the Cailleach, moments of respite to recharge and keep going, and the warmth of community.

Why is it that my mindless doodles always end up being a profile of some sort, or eyes 🌛
There is a reason why I chose the Star for the cover of the 2026 Calendar. We find healing in her waters, renewed inspiration in her light. That’s my wish for the coming year. It’s no coincidence that it comes right after the Tower - hope after destruction.
A mini print set (or maxi postcard set, depending on how you look at it!) that celebrates Liminal spaces and beings.
It features the following paintings:
Melusine
Mossperch House
Summoning the Mist
Hedge Grandmother
Owl Witch
🎄The Yule ടale ends this Sunday!
