The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) dir. Martin Scorsese
âI really want to work with actresses my own age. Iâm trying so hard to get projects up and running with an ensemble of young female characters because thatâs my life, my group of girls, weâre a gang and we roll together and Iâm like: âWhy is that not reflected in film?â

dariomilan:
Leaning back in his seat after he had just finished the call, he waited. Waited for that blonde bombshell that had been wandering through his mind now for the last couple of weeks now, and soon his patience was wearing thin. Maybe he should remain professional, but risks had always been a guilty pleasure of his â just as blonde, beautiful women. And there she was. What a sight for sore eyes. Dario observed, watched her every movement while she moved closer. His hands itched to lay on her body, but he refrained from just attacking her. Instead he cleared his throat, eyes gazing up. âTake a seat. I was wondering if you had something to tell me. Is there anything I need to worry about?â Considering she had been now head over the department for a while now, she should be able to tell if there was something wrong. Maybe part of him hired her because she was attractive, but her CV was not all too disappointing either. Gorgeous and a brain â what else was there to want?
âAnything you should worry about,â she repeated slowly and started to think. âNo, my focus is allowing this bank to flourish in the financial world,â she told him. âIn whatever means you are comfortable with,â she added. After all not all money was legal and these days being rigid in what you accept was bad for business. After all the Nikolovâs finances were not 100% green either. âIs that what you wanted to hear or has something come to your attention that I donât know about?â she asked. Her blue eyes stared at him studying his facial features to try and read what he was wanting from the situation.
carmenthehamster:
Carmen was on the seventh shift in one week, as she was on a seven days on, seven days off schedule, and she was just leaning back in her seat, reading in a magazine when she heard the doors open again, and she hurried with placing the magazine in the little hidden shelf under the desk. It was where she kept her snacks and entertainment for when she was sitting there for eight hours, most of them all alone, waiting for anyone, anything to happen.
Though she hated it when what happened, was drunk people coming in and talking about how they wanted her to come to their rooms. The small blonde looked confused as he fae made the man fall asleep and placed him in one of the leather chairs that were all in the receptionist, and Carmen gave her a little smile. âHeâs not the only one, trust meâ She said with a little chuckle, looking over at the man. âThat is fine. Iâll make sure to get him a blanket soon enough, so that he wonât get cold eitherâ She told her, glancing over to the man sleeping soundly.Â
âIs there anything I can do to help you though? A cup of coffee or tea, or some water? Or I can call a cab if you need on of thoseâÂ
âI bet he isnât,â Natasha shook her head and can imagine the kind of harassers the poor shifter got. After all she got them herself just as a CFO. Men scoffing that a woman can deal with money and not spend it. How because she was good looking she was an idiot. She always felt for those in the service industry. Having to constantly deal with people and not always at their best.Â
âI wouldnât blame you if you just left him there,â she commented. âBut that is kind of you thanks,â she added. She knew that the girl would probably give him a blanket anyway after all they would want him to return to the hotel. âYou know some tea would be great thank you. Should start hydrating myself so I can actually function tomorrow,â she requested with a yawn. Â
coralieevans:
Coralie peered up at the familiar female over a file she was going over with a smile on her lips. âThat sounds like a good idea. Itâs been a long day. I feel as though if I look at these any longer, my eyes might melt,â she said with a laugh, stretching out her back in her desk chair before sliding the file into a drawer in her desk and locking it. âItâs been too long since we had a bottle of wine between us anyway, what have you been up to?â she mused as she got to her feet with her bag. âYour place or mine?â
âGlad you agree,â she purred. âOh I know the feeling,â she agreed. Spreadsheets can be an absolute bore but she was good with them. Good with detecting patterns and making predictions from them. âWay too long,â she agreed. âEntertaining investors mainly. Which can either be great fun or a living nightmare. Doesnât seem to be an in-between,â she sighed. âHow about mine? Iâll even drive us there,â she suggested. âHow are things with you? What have you been up to?â she asked.
alinatorrex:
Had Natasha been like her mother, stuffy and aloof, then perhaps Alina wouldnât have clung so tightly to the blonde. She couldnât remember a time when she hadnât, just as she couldnât remember a secret that was too large to tell the older fae, which was a good thing. Alina had been harboring her fair share of secrets in her few years, and had Natasha not been readily available, the top of Alinaâs head might have blown off with the hot air from her lies. With a sigh, she sagged back into the chair. âYouâre a literal godsend.â
She removed the hood from her head, and used her sunglasses to pull her hair away from her face. âI got entirely too drunk and passed out on my bathroom floor, but not before sending out an embarrassing amount of winky faces on Tinder, so,â Alinaâs smile was wry when the server settled her cup in front of her. She picked up the mug, cradling the medium roast in her hand. âGod, that just warms your soul,â she said, then blew some steam from the top. âHow has your week been?â
âand donât you forget that,â she laughed. Natasha was never one for modesty when the situation presented itself. It was why she was so involved with finances. You could not be modest when you were explaining why to invest in the bank. So it was natural for Natasha to take praise. She was always there for Alina. The girl was always up to some kind of trouble and Natasha would never judge her for it. In that way Alina became like a younger sister to her.
âOn the bathroom floor! Alina!â she repeated shocked with a chuckle that came after. âI would be lying if I said I have not been in similar situations,â she shook her head. âOh, let me know how that goes for you,â she shook her head with a smile on her face. Tinder was not her thing, but she had been a little curious about it. Seemed like a minefield to her. âBoring to you probably,â she laughed. âThough we were entertaining investors a night or two ago and one of them was just well handsy and hoping for way too much from me,â she shook her head.Â

Alexandre had to laugh, his drink jostling on his glass as his body vibrated from the sound, but hey, she was right and that wasnât a regular thing with the twins. Mostly because they were very similar in everything they did, werenât they? âYou did get it right, yes! Congrats.â he grinned at her âPlaced second on the last competition, could have done better, I guess, but thereâs always next time.â a shrug of his shoulders âWhat about you? Are the numbers starting to become boring?â
âYes! Do I get a prize?â she jokingly asked her lips Turing into a proud smile at the fact she had gotten it right.  âHey second is still not bad,â she told him. Though in a world where first was the prized position she could understand the disappointment. âYeah there always is a next time. Iâm sure youâll get first then,â she agreed. âNo, never boring when they can pay for my nights out,â she joked. âSpeaking of which want a drink since I just finished mine?â she asked.
gravitymechanic:
Orbit shook off the pain in her shoulder, glad it just seemed to be the impact that hurt and not any major damage. âI really am sorry.â she apologised again as she picked herself up. âIâm pretty sure Iâm okay thanks,â came Orbitâs answer, assessing the other woman at the same time as she assessed her before grabbing hold of her penny board before it rolled off.
Natasha shook her head, âItâs okay just try to pay more attention next time.â People made mistakes and Natasha understood that. So long as they learned from them. She would be more annoyed had this been a repeat offence. âGood,â she said with a relieved sigh. She didnât want to have to drag her to the clinic. She picked up her bag and checked her phone. The spell managed to protect it but her compact mirror had seen better days. âSo do you often bang into people?â she found herself asking.
Terminal (2018).
Itâs totally surreal. It feels quick and it feels like itâs been a lifetime at the same time. I feel like the good thing about this job is every time you move countries or cities, you kinda have this little bookends and these little chapters and itâs cool to look back at it all but itâs very clearly divided. There was my time in Melbourne and that was my Neighbours time and then there was my time in New York and that was Pan Am or Wolf of Wall Street. Every time you do a job you kind of move cities as well.
âI donât ever want to become too self-conscious on set otherwise I think thatâs when you stop taking risks, and when you stop taking risks you will be doing really boring performances.â
@xalexandrerodriguez
âOh I will get this right. ALEXANDRE!â she called out and laughed as she took a drink. looking at him carefully and feeling his energy she wanted to guess which twin it was. âHowâs the skateboarding going? Thatâs if I got it right,â she asked him taking another sip of her drink. Dancing subtly to the music thrumming in the background.
@coralieevans
âI donât know about you but I have been stuck in the most excruciatingly boring meeting. So I thought I would come annoy you with a bottle of wine. Only the one since I am working tomorrow. We could watch something trashy and have a catch up? What do you say?â she asked the Angel with a wink.Â
