He had left his car at the autoshop because it had started doing a weird sound, the call had come two days ago, but Leo hadn’t had time before to go and get it. “Morning?” he called, looking around to see if he could see someone who could help him.

From the underside of a car, Orbit heard a voice calling out. “Just a second,” she called out as she finished what she was doing before sliding out on her board. After a quick look, she located the owner of the voice with and flipped up to standing with a grin. “Hi, sorry about that,” Orbit started, grabbing a rag to try and soak up some of the oil on her hands. “How can I help at all?”

Natasha shook her head, “It’s okay just try to pay more attention next time.” People made mistakes and Natasha understood that. So long as they learned from them. She would be more annoyed had this been a repeat offence. “Good,“ she said with a relieved sigh. She didn’t want to have to drag her to the clinic. She picked up her bag and checked her phone. The spell managed to protect it but her compact mirror had seen better days. “So do you often bang into people?” she found herself asking.

“I will honest,” came Orbit’s promise, hands up in surrender with a grin. At least the woman wasn’t hurt, that would not have been good for her. “And no I don’t tend to make a habit of banging into people, it’s just been a long day so far sorry,” she answered with a slight nervous laugh. “I should really have been paying proper attention, I was just enjoying being out of the garage for a bit is all.”

As the young mechanic told him there was space he nodded his features relaxing and a smile now playing on his lips. His hazel eyes recognised the mechanic. “Great, she’s just been a little temperamental the last few days rather get it sorted before it turns into something serious,” he explained. “Don’t you work at the bar?” he asked slowly. It was not very often he went to the bar but often enough to recognise those that worked there.

Obit nodded in understanding. “Okay that’s understandable, I just run through everything to check it’s all in working order for you,” she told him with a smile. “It’s always better to be safe than sorry with cars that’s for sure.” Orbit added. “Um, yeah the one at the nightclub some nights,” came her answer with a bite of her lip. “It just helps make up the money for the bills.”

Alina smiled, taking the blonde’s hand and pulling until she was standing. “No, I mean a small scratch, but-” she shrugged, turning to look at her things splayed on the ground a moment before bending and stuffing them back in her purse. “Sometimes it just be like that, you know?” Her tone was joking, and she even laughed a little at her attempted humor. Once it was gathered, she stood, sighing as her eyes crinkled a little. “But seriously? You should get a bell or, like, a horn.”

A small laugh escaped her lips, accompanied by a smile. With a moment’s pause, Orbit pulled a trailing bandana out of her back pocket and attempted to tie it around her bleeding shoulder. It wasn’t the best but it would do for now. “I would get a horn you know but there’s not really anywhere to put in on my penny without completely screwing the aerodynamics,” Orbit answered with a grin. “Are you going to be okay though?”

He remained sceptical, but wouldn’t push it further. If she said she was fine, she probably was. He was not a caring man, he had asked once — if she choose to lie, now she could deal with her own consequences. Her further comments had him furrow his brows. “Fix gravity?” That did not slip by him. “What kind of superhero power is that?”

Orbit smirked slightly, pushing the pain to the back of her mind. “No superhero, just a power,” she commented. “I can manipulate gravity. So normally if I fall I either reduce the gravity or change where it’s centred.” Orbit explained like ti was the most normal thing in the world.

Heels and collisions did not go so well together. It needed a fine balance at the best of times to walk in them. Natasha was momentarily distracted when her phone went off. She went into her bag then all of a sudden felt a sudden collision which only gave her time to cast a spell on her phone. She had the money to replace it but that was not the point it had a lot of information on it and she could note be without it for even a couple of hours. She hit the concrete hard. She groaned as the shock passed and the pain came. 

“I don’t think you broke anything but I will have a bruise that is for sure,” she told her as she got herself up again. She was not exactly amused by the incident but the flurry of an apology comforted her slightly. She dusted the dirt off her dress. Noticing a rip in the side. “Damn,” she sighed. She would repair it with magic later. “Are you okay?” she asked as her blue eyes assessed the other.

Orbit shook off the pain in her shoulder, glad it just seemed to be the impact that hurt and not any major damage. “I really am sorry.” she apologised again as she picked herself up. “I’m pretty sure I’m okay thanks,” came Orbit’s answer, assessing the other woman at the same time as she assessed her before grabbing hold of her penny board before it rolled off.

Leon treasured his car to say the least. It was the perfect show off car. So when it was acting up he needed to get it seen and because he was so protective over the damn thing he decided to see who was fixing it for himself. Leon was never one to leave matters close to his heart to others. He drove up to the garage and got out of the car and walked up to one of the mechanics. “Have you guys got any free spaces for my Ferrari?” he asked cautiously. His eyes scanning the place taking in every detail. The workers all seemed busy which was a good sign to him.

The young mechanic was on a roll today, cranking through jobs like nobody’s business. When the Ferrari showed up, Orbit had just finished working on a gorgeous 67 Impala and tossed the keys to Jared for it’s delivery back to it’s owner. Damn that was a nice Ferrari she thought as she looked around the garage, just checking things before she answered. “Sure, I have space now if you want?” Orbit answered the man with a smile.

“I just fucking had them. Piece of…” Alina grumbled to herself, digging through her purse in pursuit of her keys, but in her fumbling, she dropped her wallet. Stopping, she rolled her eyes towards the heavens. “Can this day get any worse?”

She bent, aiming to retrieve what had fallen, but no sooner than her hair fell in her face, her entire body felt as if she’d been body checked by linebacker. The contents of her purse went flying with her, and when Alina hit the ground, she felt a sharp pain in her thigh. Taking a deep breath, she moved to sit, looking down where her leg stung and noting a rip in her yoga pants, she shook her head and laughed as she saw something glittering under the back of her knee.

“Amazing. That’s-” she laughed again. “Fucking amazing.” She looked to the other girl, her smile still strong, though it was merely ironic at this point. “I found my keys, which was the objective, so-” she let out a deep breath. “And you? Are you hurt, or did I cushion your fall?”

“I really am sorry,” she repeated as she checked herself over. Most of her seemed fine although her shoulder had some blood pouring from it. That was another scar to add to the collection then. “I’m not too bad. What about you? Are you hurt?” There was genuine concern in Orbit’s voice as she picked herself up. Then with a quick dust off she offered a hand to the other woman. “Need a hand?”

He was just rolling his eyes at every second word that came out of the ex wife’s mouth on the phone. Dario had lost his patience for that woman forever ago and now she was still trying to make his life hard, but he really couldn’t care any less. But yet, this annoying voice in his ear had distracted him enough to glue his gaze on the ground instead of being cautious where he was going — and soon enough what was bound to happen in this moment did. 

At first, he could barely notice – he did stumble back, but he could keep himself in balance and steady enough to keep on his legs. Unlike the other person. The girl was clearly laying on the ground. If this was not his chance, then he would never get away from it. “I have to hang up. Accident.” And with that, the phone call was ended. His now free arms reached out for the girl, aiming to help. “I’m fine. You… Are you?” Her pained face was undeniable. “Do you need to be brought to a hospital?”

 With a deep breath Orbit took the offered hands up. “Thanks,” she said with a smile. Tentatively she rolled her shoulder around in it’s socket. “I think I should be okay...” Well that was what she said but the pain told her otherwise. “It’s my fault for not paying attention really, otherwise I would’ve been able to fix the gravity a little. Without thinking, Orbit shrugged with her comment and instantly regretted it. “Again I’m so sorry for hitting you mate.”

Orbit loved the feeling the wind whipping through her hair as she hurtled along the pavement on her pennyboard. She just felt completely free and happy; which was part of why she loved it when Scotty sent her on errands when she was stressed because it allowed her to feel, well, this. However, she had lost herself in the feeling too much and closed her eyes, which is why she never even saw the collision coming. Orbit rounded a corner instinctively and slammed straight into another person, flipping her from her board and into the concrete. “Oh shit,” she cursed as her body impacted the ground, the flip happening so fast she didn’t manage to switch up her gravity to lessen the impact.  Orbit winced as she sat up slightly, her shoulder absolutely wrecking, when she noticed the other person she’d sent flying to the ground. “Oh hells! I’m so sorry! Are you alright?!” she asked, her words coming out so fast it was almost like they were all one.

Roxy ‘Orbit’ Bennet is a heterosexual mechanic, plus a bartender at the nightclub some nights too, and some say that they look awfully like Virginia Gardener. The human is 19 years old and have been said to be exuberant and hard-working but are also stubborn and at times self-destructive. Rumours are that their power is gravity manipulation and that their faction is peace. They are into cuffs and hair pulling but not into scat or vomit, identifying as a sub. Roxy grew up as an only child with a schizophrenic single mother. To get out of the house, she spent a lot of time at the garage across the road, intrigued by what they did like a little baby grease monkey. The owner, Scotty, became like a father to the young girl and started to let her tinker about after school as soon as she could safely operate the tools. Roxy loved being at the garage and spent as much time there as she could. When she was 16 her mother developed early onset alzheimer’s which only complicated matters for the teenager and by the time she was 17, Roxy had had to send her mother to a facility as she was no longer able to care for her. It was then that she started working at the garage properly before and after school, needing to money to pay for her mother’s care. She spent so much time at the garage that her powers even appeared there, giving Scotty quite a shock when he came in to everything being on the ceiling. Fast forward to now and Orbit is now working all the hours she can at the garage and picking up a few nights a week bartending at Phoenix to boot just to scrape by and make sure her mother’s take care of.
