Why would you make a sequel when you haven't finished the first game? To my mind, finishing the first game should come... Well, first.
A Nation of Wind is finished, originally I had planned to add some more content, but none of the things I'd like to add at this point are small, they're all major updates to the game that, quite simply, I don't have time for. So the current version of ANoW is the final one. I've talked about some of the things I'd like to add to ANoW in a sequel in other posts on this blog, but I currently spend too much time making a living doing freelance and part time work at a game studio to add any meaningful update to ANoW.
I was wondering how do you hatch the dragon egg? Me and my bf can't quite figure it out
Make sure you are in build mode, then click on the Egg, you use Food to feed it. It takes somewhere between 100-500 food to hatch. You can also tow eggs and turrets by holding down spacebar when near them!
Is this game still being work on?
At this point no, ANoW is finished. Ultimately my goal is to make a more fleshed out sequel, but at this time I don't know when I'll have the resources to do so.
Great game! Will you add a time pause/play/fast/faster ability? That would be really helpful especially when my buildings get demolished and resources production slows down. Thanks!
Nope, there's a lot of reasons for not adding that stuff, suffice it to say that if you are finding lots of downtime in the game, you just need to keep in mind that there are plenty of other things you could be doing that aren't related to building and waiting on units.
Is there a volume control?
No, there is not, just an option to turn BGM on or off.

I’d like some more more followers, cuz I got a lot of stuff coming on down the line, but I get that I don’t just deserve your attention, I need to give you back something in return (that isn’t awesome free games like A Nation of Wind). So that’s what this contest is all about.
LETS TALK ABOUT PRIZES.
First place is…you guessed it, a simple arcade game starring YOU. Or someone of your choosing (significant other, family member, avatar, OC, etc.) I’m not entirely %100 certain what the game will be beyond an arcade title, but I’m hoping you (the winner) can help me out with that!
Second and third place each get a pixel portrait! This is something I’ve done in the past for charity work, you can see some examples in the images above. Basic idea is you (or person of your choosing) mashed together with a video game character type of your choice. Like a caricature, but with pixel art!

Four more Candy Cauldron gifs! This time we have three enemies and a potion, with legs!
The idea was that potions would pop out of Candice’s cauldron and run over to her pet slime, then splash themselves on it, I really liked the idea of the potions being characters themselves, reminded me a lot of the brooms in the Sorcerers Apprentice (The Mickey short, not the Nic Cage flick.)
