people on mcu tiktok. these people discovered there's a what if comic from like the 70s, in which spiderman and black widow got married and she actually ate him (i guess, because some real female spiders eat male spiders. y'know they're both spiders in a way)
and since then under like every famous video about comic black widow people say she ate spiderman
even through that happened in a non-canon comic from decades ago...
these people need to leave my girl alone... that shit is not even canon and will never be!!
it's just annoying at this point... there are so many great black widow and spiderman stories but those people would rather talk about some non canon comic from decades ago...
I'm just gonna sit in the corner and... lie down and cry
Bc OMG losing your husband and stillborn daughter not so long apart? Natalia is so strong, it's heartbreaking 😭
Anyways, I have a bit of history question. And plz forgive me if my history knowledge is not so good.
WW2 ended on 5/9/1945 but the war in Soviet calmed down after their wins in Stalingrad (2/2/1943) and Leningrad (1-2/1944). And in 6/1944, the Soviet had already pushed the N.zi back to their country border + N.zi lost almost every colonies. In 4/1945, the N.zi basically lost.
We know that Natalia was drafted for WW2 when she was 16, I assummed it was around November, since we saw Nat trained and fought when it was snowing, making it 11/1944 when she started fighting. So when Nat joined, the war was already ending, if not 5-6 months away from the collapse of N.zi in 30/4/1945.
Coming to my confusion. Natalia fought when the war was coming to an end, not in the middle of the war like the comic was potraying. Making her not really a WW2 veteran, just a child solider who happened to be drafted at the end of the war. So was the timeline there just different and the war ended later than reality or anything?
(Now, if Nat was drafted around 1-2/1944 then she would be fighting at either Leningrad or at other small combat fields. I'm favouring the earlier. This would make more sense why Natalia is a veteran. Still, if that's the case then she still didn't go through 900 days of playing tug-of-war at Leningrad. Nat was just sent there to fight the final battle at Leningrad.)
to be honest, I never noticed that but my best guess is that the timeline is different and that the war ended later. in my opinion, it would make more sense with the content of the comic, in which it appears natalia was a full blown veteran, fighting in the middle of a war
it's kinda similar to the mcu when the writers confirmed natalia was an agent for the kgb and was born 1984. however, the soviet union fell in 1991, making nat 7 but it's also confirmed she only joined the kgb after her training (when she was adult)
I guess, marvel writers do not really look into history that much...

the characterization is garbage, the plot is horrible but my most important question is how many times must natasha be half naked when she's interacting with bucky?
them being a little bit more sexual was fine in the beginning but now it's just weird and overdone. it feels uncomfortable to read. does buckynat need to be so sexualized?
the only time when the two of them are alone, is when they're having sex, talking about it or one of them (mostly natasha) is half naked
it feels like a badly disguised fetish.
seriously, someone must go through the writer's computers...
Hello, my name is Nadin. I’m from Gaza. I’m a graphic design graduate, a wife—and now, a mother.
I finished my design studies just before the war began. I had dreams of starting a small studio, of creating art that told stories. I used to think about colors and fonts and the future.
Then, the war came. And the future became something we tried to hold onto, moment by moment.
On October 22, 2023, I learned I was pregnant when a missile destroyed my husband’s family home, killing 25 members—his mother, siblings, nieces and nephews—entire branches of our family in seconds.
We were displaced twice. Everything was gone—home, safety, routine, rest.
A few weeks later, I gave birth to our daughter. There was no crib, no celebration—not even stillness. But she arrived, quietly and beautifully. In her eyes I saw something I hadn’t felt in weeks: life that still wanted to grow.
Now, our days are shaped by decisions that could dismantle the future we are trying to build together.
Today, Israel’s government is discussing plans for a full military occupation of the Gaza Strip, including Gaza City and southern regions. The stated aim: to eliminate Hamas and later hand governing control to allied Arab forces—not Israel—but with no clear path to peace or normalcy.
The humanitarian fallout is devastating. More than 61,000 Palestinians have died in this war; hunger and malnutrition are rising sharply. Hospitals in north Gaza have shut down, and 193 people have now died of starvation, nearly half of them children.
Aid remains blocked, water is scarce, and many risk dying of hunger or disease long before future promises arrive.
We Don’t Know What Comes Next
There’s no clear path forward—only uncertainty for our daughter’s life and our ability to survive another day.
My name is Nadin, and I’m a mother from Gaza.
How You Can Help
I’m asking for support—not for comfort, but for survival:
Help us meet basic needs so we can breathe, heal, and preserve a world for our daughter.
Support us as I try to stand again on my own feet—even a glimmer of stability matters.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. If you can give—thank you. If you can’t—just sharing this post is a lifeline I will never forget.
natasha is canonically the red room's greatest legend, generally a legend, possibly the greatest killer in the world and one of the angriest black widows...
"Winterwidow is a pedophilic relationship because Natasha was a child!!!"
NO!!! Please stop saying that!!
Both Bucky and Natasha's ages were retconned. Originally, both were children during WW2. However, now both are older.
Here, Natasha during WW2. She's 16!!! That's explicitly stated in Black Widow: The Name of the Rose (2010-2011). I don't have the panel currently but that's clearly not a young child / baby!
In Black Widow: Deadly Origin (2009-2010), Natasha is a baby in 1928 and a child in 1938. and guess what? Bucky and Natasha didn't meet until the LATE 1950.
Please pick up Black Widow: The Name of the Rose and Winter Solider (2012). Only then you can speak on Winterwidow
If you people can accept Bucky's age being retconned, why can't you guys accept Nat's age being retconned???
Also, why do you guys want Bucky to be a pedophile?
I wish more people read the comics bc mcu natasha is not the same as comic natasha and it's the same with bucky. both of them are wildly different down to the personality and how they processed the trauma they went through, we could've had a much darker, much more violent black widow movie if it took from the comics. and I don't think we will EVER see a winter soldier film since I believe seb's contract is up very soon
i'll never get over how much the mcu took from natasha.
her family's history
her being a ww2 veteran (+ nikolai & rose)
her being a super soldier
her being a cold war legend
marina and the other widows she considered as her sisters
her being the best black widow in history
he being the first black widow in history
her relationships (romantic and platonic)
her entire personality
her being the greatest killer to walk the earth at present
(and this is just what I can name on top of my head)
"oh but it's more realistic..." idgaf about realism in a universe in which there was a purple man who killed half of the universe using some pretty stones.
the 2020 black widow comic is so... weird. and boring. it's simply a retelling of already told natasha stories.
"let's brainwash natasha. give her a husband and a child. and take them both from her."
there's absolutely zero creativity in that. natasha is constantly brainwashed and controlled. at this point, it's just overused and writers should think of something else
natasha already has had two husbands before that. and guess what? nikolai (her first one) died in war whereas alexei (her second one) faked his death. twice.
and she already has a stillborn daughter. why give her another child just to traumatize her?
not only that, but the characterization is so bad too.
sometimes i think back to this tweet and i die internally.
no wonder natalia was done wrong again and again. there were, and still are, many people -- especially women -- whose favorite character is natalia. he just doesn't care.
