Water droplet in a lupin leaf! Each almost-circle of leaves is actually one palmate leaf! Palmate means a leaf that is divided from a central point (palm- coming from the palm of your hand), with lobes or leaflets radiating out. The classic palmate is a sycamore or maple leaf, with five lobes. These lupin leaves have defined leaflets that are covered in very soft hairs!
