Tony: Do we know if she had family?
Steve: Yeah. Us.
mcu natasha was born 1984, putting her at around 7 years old when the USSR dissolved in 1991
the actress playing her is currently 13, putting her at around 11-12 when filming. 4-5 years after the dissolution of the USSR
it's not unreasonable to assume melina and alexei were looking after the girls until it was safe (?) to hand them back to the red room
but that would mean they were a family unit for 4+ years before being torn apart, which is heart-breaking (especially for Yelena)
Natasha + different colored hairstyles
Thinking about who ever over at Marvel who decided that teenage Black Widow should have blue hair.

Stephen at the beginning of Doctor Strange into the Multiverse of Madness when he opens his front door to see three different Peter Parkers all talking over one another, a hysterical Wanda Maximoff hugging her magically created children, a very confused Peter Pietro Maximoff, and Loki running rampant in the distance with the TVA hot on his heels:
Vision: You have to pick your battles, Wanda.
Wanda: I’m full of rage and I’m picking all of them.

I love that this episode really just confirmed why it is that Vision in the hex has the agency that he does. It’s so obvious and simple but so profound; Wanda see’s him as a person, his own person, in complete defiance of everyone (read: Hayward) insisting he’s nothing but a weapon with a price tag.
Hex! Vision is a pure creation that came from Wanda’s love for him, and she wouldn’t want him to be anyone but himself, even as he goes against her desire to follow a scripted fantasy. That was so important for me. After the weeks of people speculating she was controlling a dead body like a puppet and just wanting him to play some soulless part to fill out her fantasy, we now know that his rebellion against her hex is coming straight from her. Vision was never an object to Wanda, so he’s not going to act like one now. She knew him, she loved him for being him, and her magic reflected that perfectly.

Tmw you are worried you’ve offended the love of your life when you’ve actually just made her fall in love with you.
I adored this scene in the last Wandavision episode. I’ve always like the idea of Wanda/Vision, even before the movies (because apparently I have a Thing for robots trying to be people), and I’ve always been invested in their relationship.
But this scene, OH THIS SCENE. Putting aside Vision’s now famous line about grief, the way she watches him a bit too long at the end is just perfect. There’s such a genuine desire for connection in that look, such a bald attraction, it’s so endearing. And how Vision shyly smiles like he likes that she’s looking at him but he’s not sure why she’s looking at him, just– AHHHH! So pure.
I love them, and if they are not happy by the end of this show, I can’t.
the way hayward’s stare almost never leaves wanda during this scene is truly unsettling.
he’s waiting. he wants her to get mad. he wants her to lash out and bring vision back to life. he even says it himself: “not everyone has the kind of power that could bring their soulmate back online.” when she breaks the glass to see vision up close, he lets her because he thinks he’s finally going to have the most powerful weapon on earth alive and running in his possession.
but she doesn’t. she’s leaves. she would rather leave the love of her life cold and disassembled in a lab than to bring him back to life just to become something he never wanted to be.
hayward bet all he had in hopes that wanda would bring him back to life. he tried using wanda’s love for vision against her and failed, and the only way to cover up his failure was to change the narrative and make wanda the villain.
fuck tyler hayward. 🖕🏼
