🌱 today is my birthday!

you might find me drawing myself as a character quite often. i can‘t invent characters and i often thought i might be vain or so for drawing versions of myself but i came to the conclusion that i do it because it‘s a form of escapism for me. i want to be inside ghibli movies so I draw myself in a ghibli movie. i want to be a hobbit in the shire and i might draw myself as one.

🌱 it‘s late where i live but i thought i wanna post this little artwork before i go to bed. this is my last day as a 27 y/o, it‘s my birthday tomorrow 🌸🌞.

the picture is based on one of my playlists that i love to listen to. lofi is just great for any day, any mood and any weather, isn‘t it? and how i wish one could customize the background and theme/colours of spotify 😭🌷

🐈‍⬛ close up of another artwork i drew a while a go. i‘m unfortunately really irregular in how often i draw and how i draw when i do, so it really helps me to see the things i‘ve previously made. there i can see how i did things, how i used colours, textures, lines etc and this way i find inspo in my own art and also improve bit by bit. this one is just a part of a „kiki‘s delivery service“ fanart that i made and that i will post in full soon 🌞
