Hi, welcome to my blog! I'm basically Madoka Kaname if Madoka Kaname had also been a psychologically-struggling star student with undiagnosed ADHD!
kanagi is so powerful that the news of her releasing finally got me out of my writing slump
i hadn't planned on officially starting rewrites for imperfect storm until june and now the new chapter one is maybe a third of the way done after just one day!
all hail kanagi izumi, queen of the hard-asses!
got this swimmami button from a magireco blind box i found on animate usa! i was hoping for vampnagi but y'all know i can never say no to my girl!
my logical brain: okay time to lock in and actually do something with this blog! analysis mode, go!
my dumbass brain: did you know sana would canonically choose to stay in the digital circus?
(yes, this is a sequel to the momoko applejack shitpost lol)
i hate how magireco/exedra has made "apologems" a permanent part of my vocabulary bc why did i just call glitch sending me a new blind box for a defective one an "apolopomni" irl???
there are two types of magia exedra fans: people who are tired of mami alts because they want other girls to get them and mami fans who thought their wallet was safe this time dammit--
me when i finally hear back from the agent about premiere nebula edits for the first time since august but the devilmura banner is running
read crime and punishment a month or so ago to understand oriko's character better and what i learned from this is that if oriko would've been like 5% more of an otaku she would've been absolutely insufferable about death note
tried to do the "headcanon your fave with your problem" and now i'm legitimately wondering how migraines would work in the pmmm universe?
like presumably if mami had migraines she would have them before contracting and then her soul gem would stop having them because if somehow soul gems could still have chronic pain despite being disconnected from their original bodies that would really suck
here's my magia exedra list! the two main caveats being that i took a break during the summer and i've only really spent money on madokami and halloween mami!
crescent memoria spoilers but i just knowwww fuka is doing some fucked up soul gem stuff with all the talks she has of "not really killing them" and i love her for it???
like the spiritless thing has gotta be her fucking with soul gems it needs to be
i wanna see a coordinator go rogue soooo bad guys i'm so close to winning
Rena hating gossip and clickbait slop is the kind of lore I didn't know I needed from Exedra, but my god I'm glad it delivers
Rena says to make sure you validate your sources before spreading rumors online!
started reading crime and punishment as a joke a few days ago because i like oriko and gotta say, i'm digging it so far!
expected it to be way drier but it's actually pretty suspenseful imo
to give you an idea, the first 75 or so pages are the reader wondering if a college dropout is gonna kill his elderly pawnbroker to settle his debts and though a lot of it probably went over little oriko's head, i'm definitely seeing the influence it had over her
this just in: oriko is one of those nerds who let their childhood interest take over their whole personality except it makes her go into hamlet monologues over her morality instead of "i watched winx club growing up and therefore will make up any excuse to write/draw characters with wings" like a normal person (me)
edit: there is also a dream sequence in which the main character imagines himself as a child watching a bunch of drunkards whipping an old horse to death for fun and he asks his dad why they're doing this and his dad is basically like "sometimes people are just like this" and he wakes up not quite sure if it's a dream or a memory and i just know this scene fucked up oriko's morality as a child (affectionate)
