Pizza & Puppy Love || Nat & Lauren

Lauren felt herself relax all over the second Nat opened the door; the most genuine smile she’d given in she’d always been such a source of peace to her. It’d been a massive inconvenience that both of their schedules had been so hectic in the last few months and they hadn’t had nearly enough time to spend together, and she was glad things seemed to be changing in that department. She’d been worried about Natalia in the back of her mind since what she’d shared with her that night in Adele’s backyard, and had still made a point of calling and texting her even when she was busy just to see how she was doing. She immediately went in for a one-armed hug with the arm she wasn’t carrying the pizza in, “Ugh, gorgeous, it’s so good to see you.” She breathed her in when she hugged her, the clean smell of her laundry soap a familiar comfort to her, and mixed with pizza it was almost heavenly. “That’s not all that smells awesome.” When she pulled back she went to set the box down on Nat’s kitchen counter top, also setting down the grocery bag and pulling out the two cartons of ice cream and the container of weed she’d brought with her, popping the lid on it and handing it to her so she could preview it, wiggling her brows. “How are you babes? I’ve missed you.” She pulled the lid open on the pizza, and that’s when Ozzy came bounding up to them, her eyes lighting up, “Hi baby!” She greeted him, bending down to start petting behind his ears while also keeping her attention on Natalia.
Nat gave the other a hug back, smile still painted on her face. Both their lifes had gotten so insane over the past few months they hadn’t had nearly as much time to spend together as she would have liked. “i’ve literally missed you so much! Its nice having you back over.” She gave a small giggle at the others words, a blush on her face. “Well I definitely tried, I didn’t want to smell horrible seeing you for the first time in weeks, it just wouldn’t be a good look.” She took the weed, enhaling the smell of it deeply. “Damn that’s good!” she said with raised eyebrows. “Eh, not too bad I guess.” she shrugged. “How are you?” she asked as Ozzy bounded up, grin growing. “He’s missed you a lot too!”
