Rules

Hello! Mun Mica here to drop some rules so interactions are enjoyable!

1- Mun is an adult, which means there WON'T be, under any circumstances, N*FW with minors. You don't have to tell me your age, but if you ask for that kind of RP, I will assume you're also over 18. Lying about your age will result in an instant block.

2- Mun =/= Muse. My muse will think, say and do things that I don't.

3- Triggers will be tagged as "tw:" followed by the trigger (Example "tw:gore"). If there's something you'd like to see tagged, hit me up.

4- Since I know not everyone has rp blogs, I'll roleplay with both rp and personal blogs. My DM's are also open for rp and I accept anon asks.

5- Any ship is accepted as long as the muse is over 18. But I need some chemistry to work with before they get lovey.

6- Since Elliot doesn't have much lore, my character is heavily headcanon based.

7- Crossovers and OCs are welcome.

Elliot knew that it was stupid. Taking a bullet for Bloodhound of all people, really? The heat of the arena must really be getting to him, but in his defense, one of the enemy teams had gotten Gibraltar almost right when the match started and it was just the two of them against everyone else, and Elliot didn't want it to be just himself against everyone else. So when he saw Bangalore behind a crate, weapon ready to take down Bloodhound, Mirage had been quick to rush to his teammate and tackle them, the bullet piercing all the way through his right shoulder.

"Oh damn..." Elliot groaned, picking up his gun with his good arm and starting to shoot in Bangalore's direction. He looked back at Bloodhound as he ducked to reload. "You owe me a drink!"

Mirage. Bloodhound knew the name. It was difficult not to, if one followed the Games at all. A champion rivaling Bloodhound’s own track record, a cocky man with a lopsided smile and trigger-happy hands. He was to be one of their squad mates for the season, it seemed, randomly assigned as Hound had lacked a preference. They had never participated in the same season as Mirage before, but it would bound to be… interesting. Perhaps their opposing dispositions would work well together. The extroverted trickster and the silent tracker.

It was also possible he’d drive them up a wall. They supposed there was nothing to be done about that.

The training facility available to Legends was huge, with soaring window walls and arched ceilings, but Hound found Mirage easily. They approached, watching him as he focused on training, not yet noticing their presence. Arms and ankles crossed, they leaned against a nearby beam, studying his motion for a while before speaking. Hound allowed some humor into their tone, hoping a positive meeting would lead to a positive match.

“I should hope you are more attentive to your surroundings than this in the ring, felagi.”

If someone ever asked what his meeting with Bloodhound was like, Elliot would die before admitting he jumped when he heard the hunter’s voice. They were quiet, Elliot already knew that, but he had not been expecting them to be that quiet. He didn’t even heard them, the fact that Elliot was wearing an earbud and blasting ‘I am the bomb’ didn’t help.

Stopping what he was doing, Elliot looked back at the masked hunter, pressing a hand to his chest. “You scared me!” he exclaimed, then laughed and smiled. “Please don’t tell anyone.”

“I am more attive- attint- I keep my guard up when there are people actively trying to kill me,” Elliot assured with a confident grin as he paused the music. “You’re Bloodhound! Nice to be teamed with you for the next season, buddy!”

Elliot had a good feeling about this season. He had been teamed with most legends at least once, but he didn’t have preferences. Bloodhound, given their ability and if things went well, could definitely become one. Elliot had seen them in the ring, they were good, maybe even better than him.

Their voice was half amused when they spoke again.

“The Gods will guide us to victory together.”

Comical as Mirage’s surprise was, they couldn’t simply take his word that he was stronger in the ring. They’d have to train with him, see how honed his skills truly were.

He was nice enough, though. Bloodhound could appreciate that. Some other Legends, and in fact even lower recruits, got too cocky. Over-confidence got you killed. They had yet to see if his self-esteem was earned or grandeur.

“Tell me, felagi - what do the skies tell you of our match?”

Elliot always thought he had seen everything the games had to offer. But someone who spoke about the gods and the skies and called him felagi, that was new. He also had no idea what felagi meant, he'd google it later.

"Well, my ma always says that if you have good thoughts, good things happen, but that we don't have to be gree- gryd- that we don't have to ask for too much. So I will just say that we will do amazing in the match!"

Elliot was surprised he could get all that out with just one stutter, it usually got worse when he met a new legend. But Bloodhound was difference, like everyone else, they were sizing Elliot up, but not in a judgemental way.

I have this random idea that Bloodhound is only called ‘Bloodhound’ instead of ‘Bloth hundr’ because of Mirage’s stuttering and they had enough of the man mispronouncing their name.
