floor the gas!!!! some sort of 50s Dandy is in our way!
Messaging people for the first time is so hard. What am I supposed to say? Like, "You seem really odd and your blog intrigues me. Do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters?" What! Whatever. I will just follow you back and stare at your blog with my big beautiful brown eyes.
Reblog if you're okay with people coming into your DMs with the "you seem really odd and your blog intrigues me, do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters"
"Can I study you, perhaps in some sort of lab" worked on me lol
A post I saw, but couldnāt repost. But I am so thankful I have found itā¦š©·
Please read itā¦for me, it is the biggest Easter egg there ever was in GOā¦they are sitting in the Garden of Eden, surrounded by the new universes, with Champagne in their glasses (to the world - to our world/worlds), with the apple still intact and without wingsā¦they did it. They gave them their ending as an āusāā¦hidden, but there. And I love itā¦š„¹
okay so Iām not gonna make this a super long drawn-out post or anything because I donāt have my thoughts together enough for that yet. but generally the way I feel about the ending of Good Omens is divided pretty cleanly in two:
1) I am very sad that we didnāt get to see Aziraphale and Crowley have a happy ending in their own universe;
and
2) I think itās a love letter to humanity that it ended the way it did. I also think itās insanely beautiful and poignant that the ending is basically ātheir souls will always find their way back to each other in every universe, forever.ā I genuinely canāt think about that too much or it makes me forget how to breathe and swallow.
This was always going to be complicated. There was never going to be a clean and easy way out, as much as we all wished there would be.
I will never stop thinking about these two, in all of their incarnations and across all universes (including the one we watched over the course of the series), finding each other and falling in love and proving that there is so much value in daring to question and to break the cycle and to make sacrifices and to LOVE.
I love them. I always will.

To my 25 - 35 year olds, you've reached the age where people around you are starting to give up on themselves because they think it's too late. Don't let that energy rub off on you. It's not too late.
